Have RBC extended warranty coverage on my Visa card. I supplied all the documentation, including the warranty statement from the manufacturer and they are trying to deny it. They say the part that broke has a 10 year warranty but Frigidaire Canada, and their warranty statement, says no. It only has a one year. They say I have to deal with the manufacturer in Brazil to get the 10 year warranty. Shame shame on RBC for using these guys. I would put 0 (zero) stars if I could . People on phone have been nice but the agent" evaluating the claim is finding every excuse to deny. I am led to believe they are paid based upon how much they do not pay out in claims!"

I tried to submit an extended warranty claim for a monitor. Submitted all the required documentation on their online application, including a copy of the bank statement with the purchase of said monitor. They left me a voicemail after a while, indicating that they could not get verification from RBC that I had a card with them, and that I needed to sort it out with RBC. After a day of back and forth calls between RBC and Allianz, I got desperate a d went to an RBC branch. A very nice lady at the RBC branch took the time an patience to review my situation and we called Allianz from there. She corroborated, with her RBC credentials, that all my info was correct and that I was an RBC cardholder. The allianz rep said that they would log the info and let their team know and that I would get an update. Next thing I know, after a couple of weeks, I got a letter from Allianz that due missed documentation, they had declined my claim. They never indicated what the missing documentation was. I will call them again, but I can't express how frustrated I am with this company. A bunch of crooks

Can we rate a no-stars? Awful. I agree with other comment that this is set up by design so that people just give up. 11 agents with no luck, 2 'dropped calls', 1 said they'd call back and nothing, 4 said they'd email and nothing, links don't work to submit claims, there are apparently no supervisors to speak to, customer serivices transfers you to another insurance co. No one knows what they are doing.

DO NOT buy trip cancellation or any travel related Insaurance, they will ask you to call and call will drop continuesly and if lucky then call continue for hours and they will not answer, then you will disconnect. It’s just a money pit. You buy thinking any unexpected will happen they will cover but they won’t even answer any call, coverage is far expectation. My family member got injured on same day as flight. Now I cannot find any form which can be use to claim, their head office forward call again to customer care and they will not answer. You will be juggling between these call and end up with nothing.Good luck and stay away. I wish I can provide any negative stars!

Not that another one star review is necessary, but do not waste your time or money with these guys and their travel insurance. Took five months to get a decision on a claim made for travel delays, denied due to missing documentation despite every document being provided. Calling them is a joke, if and when you finally get ahold of someone be prepared for the infinite lost in transfer loop. Am now out the money for the insurance policy itself plus all the additional travel costs accrued. Absolutely pathetic.

Government must shut them down as they screw people time and money. Someone must do something about their level of service. We paid 250 USD in January 2023 and we are still waiting for them to reply to our claims.

I bought travel insurance through Westjet. Allianz covered job loss, I unfortunately lost my job, so I called to cancel my trip to get some money back. They said that because I didn't work for my company for 3 years that I could not get my money back. I read the policy and it didn't state that anywhere (I read the policy over a few times before buying). When I paid for everything it said on their website I would get my policy paperwork in the mail which I got nothing, no policy number, no emails other than surveys, nothing, they just took my money.The best part is, I went through this circle for over an hour trying to start a claim to be told they won't cover me, I kept getting hung up on, being transferred around. I wasted money for a flight and wasted money for travel insurance. I will never buy insurance from Allianz again, nor recommend them. This feels like a scam.

Worse service ever. Luckily meticulous notes might make it worth litigation. I am a small business owner and my time is valuable as well! Wonder how people who work there sleep at night knowing that this company will do anything NOT to pay. They seem to have no problem taking my money. We will see!

This is undoubtedly the absolute worst customer service experience I’ve ever had! I would be ashamed to work for this company.Wife had a minor bone break while traveling to Disneyland.Allianz has done nothing to help make that experience any better. In fact they single handily made it a terrible memory.After 3 months calling & email they finally send a claim explanation requesting additional forms with no link or direction where to find the forms at all. Only a phone number.2 hours 32 minutes on hold only to be told the person couldn’t handle that claim and had to transfer. Another 1 hour 47 minutes then call dropped. You’ve got to be kidding.That’s over 4 hours of holding.Called again 1 hour 18 minutes and person answers asked for claim number again (I’m not a rocket scientist but couldn’t that be captured at dial in?) then the person says, I need to submit additional forms (no kidding) but I can’t help you, I need to transfer but I’ll make sure you get a “warm” transfer so you don’t have to wait. Over 2 hours later I just hung up.Zero response on email.Pretty sure this is all by design so people just give up.

This is the worst claim portal I have ever encountered. Trying to get someone to help? good luck! Calls are forever on hold, no matter what time of day or which day of the week you call. Have been trying for almost 2 WEEKS and still not able to speak with a single soul!!
