After numerous problems, I applied for refunding of optional services. It took months over months to receive a first response. Ok, so far not good but tolerable if it was a busy period. But they tried to dodge, hinting that the service I paid extra for was included". After I showed a proof that an extra fee was charged

Flight got cancelled. Can’t get a refund, can’t reach a human by phone (the automated system is useless), online tools don’t allow me to cancel the automatic rebooking they force you into that has stopovers instead of being direct, or lead you in circles back to the automated phone system that is useless. The only choice left is to go back to the airport to talk to a human. This user experience is clearly done on purpose to avoid giving a refund.

Horrible service. I had a note from a doctor and they deboarded me without notifying me. Made me run around in circles trying to get reapproved for flying but they didn't let me know that was the run around I was dealing with. I thought they were dealing with the medical issue. Meanwhile they made me miss 2 flights and are taking absolutely no responsibility for their actions. They yelled at me and chased me down the runway yelling at me. They did not follow through with the instructions I was given and they flagged my file treat me like garbage every step of the way. Do NOT fly air Canada. Horrible horrible horrible company.

My first time flying Air Canada, I always wanted to fly it--I had an image of Canada, nice people, modern country and excellence of service with no frills. Flying as a Star Alliance customer, great ground staff at the check-in in SFO, and enjoyed the lounge (United) before flight. The aircraft was a 737-8, relatively new and clean, the crew very friendly and very presentable--as expected. However, one of the only 2 toilets of the economy class was inoperative--queue the whole flight (737-8 is a 200-passenger narrow body!); the earphones for the entertainment system costs $3, the seats configuration is tight, and the service for a 6-hour flight was just 2-time--drink only, not even a light meal is offered--even though you can purchase some food--I didn't even check the menu. The cabin was freezing cold and a wind" from I don't know where haunted me the entire flight so I took my jacket and put on a winter coat with a hood after 2 hours of the flight. A narrow body fully booked is not the best way to fly an international flight for 6 over hours. So I was very disappointed with Air Canada. It felt very much like a LCC at most

My flight was rescheduled but they did not inform me at all. I found it myself at the time of checking in. To cancel the booking, had to wait on the phone for hours. Unacceptably poor management and service.

Cancelled a $4k ticket and we're told twice that we had to wait 8 weeks?! We waited 8 weeks, barely paying off our credit card and having to pay interest. Called them and now they said you have to wait 12 weeks?!So they can accept payment in an instant, and most businesses can refund money within 3-5 business days, but Air Canada decides to become a bank and use our money for what exactly that they can't refund it right away?Thiefs..I want my refund asap!

Horrible, Disorganized, Don't careNot 1 thing went right with Air Canada, starting from checking bags in Milan where just 1 counter was open, to delay to missed connections, to long lines at counter to rebook (5 hrs at 2am) to no vouchers for hotels, to sleep on chairs at airport, to try to rebook again next day, to not being able to get on an earlier flight where they had seats because they said your luggage would not come with you, to get on a flight they rebooked me 3 times to be able to find seats, and it was not full, to finally not receive my baggage and not being able to do a claim online or over the phone because they don't take phone calls anymore because of too many complaints. Unbelievable never again air Canada

Terrible service. Our flight got cancelled due to bad weather. They told us they would put us on another flight the next day and did nothing. They did not communicate with us anything. We tried to call them, we even went to the airport for 6 hours everybody was condescending and unwilling to help us. Shame on you Air Canada, really disappointed.

Worst company ever, i wish I could give you zero star, air canada simply stole my money, I had a flight that got cancell due to covid, after that j received a voucher telling me that I can redeem it any time I want, a month and a half ago I called Air canada to check on my voucher because i was thinking of using it and the representative told me that the amount on my voucher, approximately a week after I called again to book a flight and to redeem my voucher and the representative told me that I can't use my voucher because he can see it was used, I explained to him that I never used it and that a week before I called and another representative told me that it's valid and the amount, and I told the representative that she can check the history and see that I never redeemed it and I never used it ,she checked and agreed with me but told me that there wasn't anything she can do and when I asked customer service phone number she refused to give it to me and was very rude and when I complained and asked for her manger she hang up the phone on me,I called again waited again for more then an hour for some one to answer me and the same think happened sgain with another representative that was rude and hang up the phone on me called again waited again more then an hour and the same thing happened again, it happened 5 times in a row, eventually I needed to book a flight without redeeming the voucher to see my family after more then 4 years I didn't saw them, I wrote an email to customer service, they responded after almost 2 weeks saying that the voucher isn't valid and was used last year, and I am asking how? I never used it, Air canada just stoled my money simple as that

We flew air Canada to the philipinnes in January 2023. The staff were horrible and unprofessional. One of our legs was on Cathay Pacific who were friendly and attentive. the total opposite of air Canada staff. We travel each year to the philipinnes and will never fly air Canada again.
