Lana is a great teacher. We like the way how she teaches and communicates with my daughter. From the beginning, her fun and interesting teaching method inspires my daughter’s passions to learn piano. This led her to practice more and more at home, and most importantly my daughter enjoys playing piano. Lana arranges two recitals each year for her students which are wonderful. Every recital gave my daughter a chance to practise in public and this also built her confidence. My daughter was very confident playing in the North York Music Festival, and got the first place award with score 96. We would like to say Thank you Lana, and you helped my daughter with a wonderful start in her piano journey. Thank you. You are the best piano teacher.

I have known Lana's teaching and piano talent before she started her studio and was pleased to find her again to continue two of my daughters piano lessons. Kathleen, my oldest daughter finished Grade 8 piano with Lana, She enjoyed every single lesson with Lana.Vanessa, my younger daughter is in Grade 7 piano and I am always amazed how well she plays with Lana's teaching, just seeing how well Vanessa memorized music and scales always impresses me and those around her.Lana is a wonderful and patient teacher who brings out students inner musical talent.

Lana runs an outstanding program! She is so pleasant to deal with and very responsive. We initially enrolled one child for piano lessons and we were so impressed with the teacher Ms Julia that we enrolled our youngest too! She is so wonderfully patient and her positive approach to teaching truly motivates our kids to want to learn and engage. They love her. The progress they’ve made has been fantastic and we are very happy to be part of the Kennedy Piano Studio family.

Lana has been teaching my two daughters piano since 2012. Lana has helped both my children achieve excellent progress during this time. She was instrumental in finding an alternative path when my older daughter started to show lack of interest in the more traditional curriculum of Suzuki's program at the Royal Conservatory, suggesting to move to a Comtemporary program at Conservatory Canada. My daughter has now completed, with excellent grades, up to level 4 (all above 84%). She is currently working towards level 5, and she is more motivated and interested in piano than she has ever been. During her classes, Lana has always shown generous amounts of patience, commitment and professionalism, yet also fun. I can often hear my younger daughter laughing as if she is playing with a friend, yet her results from her tests at the Royal Conservatory classical program have been extraordinarily high (90 and 87%). We are immensely thankful to Lana for all her help during all these years as she is a fantastic piano teacher.

We attended two piano recitals and both were very successful. We all love it. The staff is very friendly and the environment is very good, which shows that the organizers attach great importance to the concert. We're all looking forward to the next concert.

My son looks forward to his piano classes every week. The teachers are very nice and great with kids. Lana does a great job organizing regular recitals as well. The school is run very well and efficiently. Also, it has free wifi to spend your time while listening to soothing music played by students in the background :)

Great place to learn music, wide services of instruments to learn! Lana and her staff are very competent and accommodating for individual needs! Recitals are available and Lana is very encouraging and helpful to ensure you feel comfortable and confident every step of the way.

We found Lana through an online search as my daughter needed a piano accompanist to accompany her to the auditions for music programs. We are very happy that we did. She is very professional and super nice. My daughter applied to 2 universities and one of them offered my daughter a placement on the spot. We can't thank her enough for her help and availability, my daughter couldn't get a spot without her help.

My daughter just passed the Royal Conservatory of Music exam with a mark of 88 and I am so proud of her. Lana is her teacher and she is a exceptional professional, that loves to teach and put so much energy and enthusiasm into it. The recitals are very well organized and the studio prepares their students very well. She studio is a warm and welcoming environment for both parents and students. I am looking forward to start piano competitions next year. I truly recommend The Kennedy Piano Studio. We have been there for many years and I am so glad I found this place.

While in Kennedy piano studio’s waiting lounge- equipped with wall size dry-erase board, and mini library-I’ve heard the cool jazz riffs of an advanced player and the teacher’s patient instruction of a beginner pianist. We are fortunate to take our lessons from Patrick and his thoughtful instruction and encouragement is constant.I also appreciate Lana’s insights as the path to playing a musical instrument is not a simple one.My young children are both reading music, ready to perform the pieces they’re working on, and also loving to improvise at home. Very happy to have found the right teacher at Kennedy piano studio.
