We had an excellent dinner at Pietro last night. The service, food, and ambiance far exceeded expectations. Jen, our server was very attentive, friendly, and offered great wine pairings. Gary, the co-owner made us a delicious table-side Caesar salad with all the warm charisma and character that Pietro's has become known for. The pasta was fresh and delicious, all around superior. Thank you for a wonderful experience. Pietro's is well worth the trip and to book a reservation for a special occasion.

The service was incredible. Personalized and so very kind. The food was sublime. And the sommelier is a genius. Our first time there, and definitely won't be the last. Our new favourite restaurant at the lake! Thank you for a perfect evening!! UPDATE: I wasn't joking about going back. We dined at Restaurant Pietro four times this summer. Without exception, the experience and food is the best that Saskatchewan has to offer. We will be lifelong customers. Thank you Gary, Garry, and the amazing team at Restaurant Pietro!

Only place to eat in Waskesiu, it is just that good. Like they say A restaurant in the heart of the Boreal Forest offering fine dining and an experience you won't soon forget." Love it all the peanut butter desert was over the top"

Our experience at Pietro's was incredible... comfortable, clean, romantic ambience. Our server Jen went above and beyond, even making sure to light candles when it got dark on the patio and putting out mosquito repellent. The owner came and completely changed out a heater just to make sure we were comfortable. Great cocktails and amazing food, we all got a different pasta and loved them all. Yesss it is a higher price point than the other Waskesiu spots, but it is a different experience than the rest. I do think a bottle of Meomi is a bit overpriced at $75 but that is my only complaint. Either way I'm definitely going back. Amazing for a date night, girls' night or quiet family dinner.Book a reso early as this spot is a popular one.

We called on short notice on a rainy day today and luckily got the last available table out on the patio (but with a heater and sheltered from the softly falling rain.) We were so lucky. it was delicious, the service was impressive and our selections were a perfectly matched group of foods which showed all the talent this chef and kitchen have to offer. The Calamari appetizer was one of the best versions of this classic we have ever tasted; crisp but light and the calamari itself was the most tender. our mains were the Innisfail Alberta rack of lamb and the Lobster spaghettini. both were amazing. as a side we ordered the smoked scallops. again the amount of lobster was impressive with the hand made pasta. the lamb was outstanding and the scallops were perfectly done, tender and smokey. a really really impressive supper!!

presentation was nice, but felt like everything was lacking seasoning. fairly expensive, but not ridiculous. Likely wouldn't go again
