Super friendly staff, clean and great little cozy space. Enough items on the menu for a variety. The dishes are good portions and very tasty. Great spot for lunch! Draught beer.

This is an amazing place for dine in. Food is delicious. Yum.However, they did not open at 7am when I went due to having a big order early morning and hence I had to wait out for 45 mins until they took regular walk in customers. They said their kitchen is not open for walk in customers until the big order is completed.I dislike that they do not do take outs after 5pm when I went in June. Bummer.Overall, I highly recommend Bill Peyto's Cafe.

This place has become one of my favourite breakfast/brunch/lunch spots. Lodge/cabin style, friendliest of staff and a warm inviting atmosphere with hot food. Very reasonably priced - quality vs quantity. Would highly recommend their mushroom burger or their omelette (breakfast only). Generous portions, food is hot, fresh and tasty without any salt or greasiness to it. Staff here is amazing. Majority of food items fall between $13-19. In the winter they have a roaring fireplace inside too.

You get a variety of burgers, pasta, desserts and taste is awesome. We had salmon pasta, fish and chips, and even butter chicken with naan and rice and vanilla with hot chocolate in dessert - all the items were very yummy. Their service is super efficient. The ambience is cozy. It's not that costly. I would say this is the go to place for dinner after a long day's travel if you are staying at Lake Louise village.

Bad breakfast experience twice in a row. Burnt pancakes and eggs. But the service was really the reason for one star. When I told the waitress that the pancakes looked burnt, she said that the pancakes “look like that”…when they remade the pancakes, they still looked burnt! see picture…at no time the waitress came over to refill my coffee unless I asked for it explicitly … avoid this place for breakfast.

We stopped in super late on Canada Day and they welcomed us with no trouble. The staff was amazing, went above and beyond! Food was priced very well for the area and tasted AMAZING! The Elk Burger and Smoked Salmon Fettuccine hit the spot. We also grabbed a Sticky Toffee Pudding on our way out for the road and it didn't make it out of the parking lot. We will definitely be coming back soon!

Surprisingly good dining options in a warm, inviting and unpretentious setting with great service. The poutine side was delicious and so were the chicken fingers. The Thai sautee was a tad too sweet but we still enjoyed it nevertheless. We returned the next morning for a huge lumberjack breakfast which was sufficient to satisfy the largest appetites (although if you like your eggs runny, be sure to order them sunny side up as ours came fried when we ordered them lightly turned over). All in, a good place for a nice meal.

The price of food is very reasonable, especially in the Lake Louise area. They have the elk burger if you want to try something different. But I personally will recommend the butter chicken. The staff are friendly. They do get busy because there are not many restaurants in the area. I will come back next time when I visit Banff National Park.

Stopped in for a late lunch, they are a Cafe attached to the Youth Hostel, very rustic charm inside the restaurant, and the food was delicious! Our table got Peyto Burgers, Angry Peyto Burgers, Chicken strip and Battered Cod. Everyone was very happy with their lunch, quality and fresh ingredients and our server was wonderful. Definitely worth a visit when you're in the park
