Southland Dental needs to give ITSELF a root canal..... I’ll explain....1. If you pay in cash....... be prepared to witness the staff run around and look in each other’s purses for change. They might tell you that the reason is ................. another patient paid cash that day .......... that’s why they have no change for you2. DON'T ASK QUESTIONS. If you ask them to explain a new patient procedure to you, you'll be branded as a Problem and subjected to being treated as one. Frankly, in this area, I felt humiliated.3. DON'T MAKE AN APPOINTEMENT AT THE DESK. If you do, you may be asked to officially 'confirm' it then and there. Plus! as a bonus you'll receive many follow up phone calls reminding you of your previous confirmation.4. DON'T ASK IF THEY BILL DIRECTLY TO INSURANCE COMPANIES. If you do you may, as I was, be subjected to these sorts of comments; aww

I have had multiple excellent experiences here for several years now. This is a wonderful clinic with an exceptional team. Dr. Pederson always takes the time to answer any and all questions, and never recommends more than what is necessary. I would not hesitate to recommend Dr. Pederson and the clinic to anyone looking for a great dentist and staff!

Sean is an EXCELLENT dentist. He is extremely professional and suggests only essential treatment plans. His dental hygienists are excellent and perform a very thorough cleaning. His front staff is very friendly and helpful with insurance submissions.

Dr. Pederson is the best dentist in Calgary. He doesn't pressure you into unnecessary dental work and he is extremely comforting. All of the staff here are exceptional! I always recommend people to come here.

I haven't been to the dentist in over 10 years and I was terrifyed. Not because my teeth were bad but because I was afraid of the lecture to come. But they didn't they were very non threatening and were super duper nice. Oh and their chair freaking massage. So ya know!

Absolutely amazing experience 100% of the time. I have been going here for over 25 years and even though I moved across the city I still come here and bring my kids here. Dr. Sean and all his staff are the friendliest most accommodating dental office I have ever been to. The rates are perfectly on par with what my insurance covers and they always are willing to make sure I’m never overcharged for what I am there for. I recommend them to anyone looking for a great experience!

Dr. Pedersen is a wonderful dentist & caring person. His staffAre also friendly & kind. Time was taken to explain treatments options & to offer suggestions. I never felt pressured or rushed. I would highly recommend him.Carolynn

I have been coming to this clinic for over 10 years, it never ceases to amazing me how incredible they staff are. I’ve never waited and usually get in early. Dr. Sean is amazing with my girls, both have had fillings done without freezing. Today he saw us at the end of the day as my youngest broke her tooth, not only did he fill it quickly but also took the time to explain to her what he was doing. She’s not even 3 and it went smoothly. At the end I expected to pay and be on my way, however he then let my daughter put on a mask and play with some of the equipment all while “checking” on her stuffed animals teeth. This clinic is nothing short of amazing!

Amazing staff and office. Everyone is so kind and they leave you feeling beautiful and healthy and explain everything through every step. Can't imagine a better dentist to have!
