Maritime Inn Port Hawkesbury
I will be honest and state that I am used to big city, modern hotels. This hotel is definitely not that, so I had to lower my expectations. It is an older hotel, but has been recently somewhat renovated, but is still a bit outdated, especially the bathrooms. It is loud i.e. you can hear neighbour's walking around, but earplugs should help. It is probably your best option in the area. I've stayed at the Heartstone down the street and this place is much better.

Certainly overpriced for 'off-season'. The room was quite small and the bed was too soft. Had back problems for two days after sleeping there.

Horrible service. I stayed here for a few nights for a hockey tournament. We have dogs so we left them in their crate for an hour while we were at my game. When we came back, the security guard" told us that "we can't keep our dogs alone in our room" despite everyone else doing just that. So much for a "dog friendly" hotel. The internet was also horrible. We didn't have internet for the rest of our stay because there was "too many people." Don't stay here unless you're desperate."

Arrived in pouring rain on our Harley. Restaurant on-site has pleased us before. They did again. Evening was busy, and there was a wait, but like most places, good staff are in short supply. Our waitress was a good one, just very busy. El had crab cakes, I had a burger, with side Ceasars. Both a good choice.Breakfast held us until late afternoon! Good, and plenty, so to say.

Maritime Inn Port Hawkesbury
A rare find in an ocean of mediocre hotels in the area. The room was a good size, the beds and pillows were very comfortable. We took advantage of a dip in the pool in the morning before we checked out. I would recommend this place to anyone who needed to ensure a good hotel stay and a good night's sleep. The Steak and Eggs breakfast at the restaurant was also top notch.

I've stayed at the Maritime Inn 3 or 4 times in the past 5 years. The food at the restaurant is excellent. The staff is friendly and the room and bed is always comfortable... if you have a long drive to C.B. this is a good stop. If you are doing business in Port Hawkesbury, this is a great place. Still the best French Toast I've ever had and the bacon is thick slices... they don't skip on Quality Food!!

Maritime Inn Port Hawkesbury
Booked this last minute and was so glad I did. The inn was very clean and well organized. The front desk and friendly and the beds were SO comfortable. Wish I could have spent more time there and maybe have better water pressure/adjustable head for taller guests. Will definitely be back next time I’m in town. It was a little expensive and I should have booked 3rd party (over $300 for 1 night), but that seems to be everywhere nowadays

Maritime Inn Port Hawkesbury
Definitely not 4 star. Rooms are out of date, showers have no pressure. Ac doesn’t work, staff came into room with please do not disturb sign on door handle. Travel all over the province and stay in many hotels. This will not be on my return list.
