Sport Chek

This is the first time i am reviewing any retail store and its totally because of the rude customer experience i was there yesterday was looking at some shoes, since i wasn't aware that the store was about to close, a guy wearing glasses comes by and says “ you can’t shop when we are closing” in a very rude way… he might be having a bad day and i know what it means to work in retail but sorry i just felt it was very inappropriate of him to raise the voice to customers like that..

Thank you Isabella (Langley location) for an amazing customer experience! I bought a Yeti cup specifically for the straw lid, handle, size and colour. I purchased online for an 'easy' in-store locker pick-up but unfortunately didn't check over the item prior to leaving the store. A customer had switched the lids in-store and the staff who pulled the item didn't realized when bagging the order. I called in and she immediately knew what I was talking about and pulled the correct lid and asked me to come back to swap the lids the next day as it was 10 minutes before the store closed. I started the call frustrated and annoying but she helped change my mood around and was very apologetic. She was very friendly and helpful and told me exactly where to go and it was a very simple and easy process. Thank you for fixing the issue and being such a stellar person! Something that could've been an tricky and irritating processes became a simple one because of her and it is very much appreciated.

I would not recommend online shopping with SportChek.Here is what happened. I spent over $150 for badminton rackets and basketballs for $30 store credit, then I used the $30 online store credit to buy some badminton shuttles. One of the items in my order was cancelled but the credit was one time used only so I had to call support and they were nice to send me another online voucher but it was quite time consuming. Then the badminton shuttles didn't meet my expectation so I went to exchange but I was told I could only got refund with money I spent with credit card but not the online store credit. After discussing with the manager for some time I was refunded with store credit but I wasn't able to use it with Boxing Day sales price as STACKING with promotion was not allowed even though that was my store credit. Also I was told not able to return one of the shuttles as I used it even though I didn't like its quality. However after further discussion I was able to return the shuttles and got store credit.Overall I appreciated their help but the experience wasn't great at all so I really hope this can be improved. Otherwise I'll try my best to avoid online shopping with SportChek given all the troubles I ran through.

Probably the nicest sports check I have been to , staff super helpful in finding and looking for things in the back. Overly surprised at how organized and clean it was !

No shopping bags or carts available at the store.I asked the sales person if I could get some shopping bag (so that I could easily carry the stuff I want to purchase) or a cart where my kid could sit & apparently they don't have any. Customers are literally juggling stuff on their hands & shoulders throughout the store until they reach the billing counter.

The staff are friendly - and available usually. The store is kept tidy and clean, unlike other Sport Chek locations I know of. I wish they had better music going on for shopping though.

i was buying something for christmas i knew what i wanted found it and it was not a problem. i know what it’s like working in retail at this time of the year and it can be stressful. the cashier was rude and maybe she was having a bad day but i tried to start conversation but she was not having it. overall just left feeling unhappy with that interaction.

Excellent customer service was received during my most recent visit.Was asked, are you finding everything ok?I'm just looking for something a few outdoor items, that's all.(Similar to theses pictures)Girl didn't know, couldn't find the exact items I was looking for, she asked another co-worker.There's two staff serving you now awesome"I found some small odds and ends

Had to wait 15 minutes patiently to be helped at the shoe department. Finally flagged a guy down on the other side of the store by raising my arms and waving. Bought the shoes for 156 bucks and asked for a bag to put the shoe box in. She said it’s 2 bucks for a bag. Didn’t buy the bag and not going back. Zero customer service or appreciation at this store. Why shop at a place like this?
