Living in the area I've visited Sauce Kitchen & Market since it opened. I've yet eaten at the restaurant (though heard it's great) I have had lunch and prepared take away meals from the market area; the food is always fresh & tasty. Definitely recommend!

Went for YYC Hot Chocolate Fest — look how fancy! Great creation, obviously sweet, but was a nice stop. Would love to go back and try the food here

A really enjoyable experience. The food was delicious, the prices are very reasonable, and staff were all friendly and lovely. We ordered the bruschetta trio for a appetizer (which was SO good that it was inhaled and I forgot to take a photo, rare). The bread it comes with is soft on the inside, lightly crispy on the outside, and had a sweet finish to it. Paired amazingly with the trio of bruschetta it comes with, and they give you enough to slather each piece of bread.For entrees we got the caprese pasta and the carbonara. The caprese was balanced well, and finished with crispy capers that were so good. The carbonara was done masterfully and cooked to perfection. Lots of bacon, lots of peas. Food came out piping hot. Very happy.Finished with the strawberry milkshake Panna cotta and a skor cannoli. Fantastic cannoli, it's clear the ingredients are fresh and the cream was perfect. The Panna cotta was unexpected and came in sort of a skinny glass vessel instead of its traditional shape, and you scoop it like a parfait. But also very tasty, the taste of strawberries was very refreshing and definitely not artificial.So full they could have rolled us out of the restaurant afterwards. Most certainly would go again. 5 stars.**3.03.23 update: I went back to eat carbonara, and they changed the menu so that you can only get it mon&sun evenings, and during lunch time. No idea why that is. We got the pistachio rigatoni instead, and that was a new but delightful experience.Also for reasons unknown when they put the black forest Panna cotta on the specials menu, they will name it black Forest trifle. Our server told us they are the same thing, which was confusing because those are 2 very different types of desserts. It comes more like a baby trifle, where there is cream set in the bottom of the glass, (Panna cotta"). Tasted nice though

We ordered 6 dishes 2 weeks ago and honestly it was very disappointing.The appetizer broccoli was $13 and there were 4 pieces. This dish should be considered a side and priced at $5-6.The short rib ravioli had 5 regular sized pieces. At a whopping $29, that’s $6 a piece. This is criminal.I won’t get into detail of the other dishes.I know prices have gone up, but this is insane. We eat out every week and have a good understanding on what other restaurants are charging, the quality and quantity.I emailed the restaurant twice hoping to work with them privately but never heard back which was disappointing.As a local resident, I hope they can improve their offering to be competitive.

Amazing spot. Didn't know it existed. So happy we went and will be back. I don't really like bruschetta, but omg I couldn't get enough of it there. I had spaghetti, and the meatballs were great. My wife's squash ravioli was good she said but I tad small of a portion. We also had the gingerbread parfet type desert that was so deadly.

Incredible hidden gem! Great price for all their plates, and very fair portion sizes! Not to mention, everything is incredibly flavourful. THE PORK CHOP IS A MUST HAVE! It was very tender, and packed with flavour. 10/10!

While the food probably warrants a 4 star, I am only giving a 3 because they apply an 18% gratuity to every bill. Sorry, but I will decide the amount of gratuity that is appropriate. For this reason, not going back. Edit - I was informed that this only applied to a table of 6 or more diners. We were 3 couples and each couple had a separate bill. While I understand this policy for large groups with one bill, I still think it should not apply if the bills are separate. Again, the food was very good, the service was good and the decor was very nice. My only issue was with the mandatory gratuity.
