Beaucoup d'empathie et on en a tous besoin quand les sou manques

I got yelled at by the woman in the blue vest because I was looking for a job on Resto & Bar Staff de Montréal. She yelled something about not being allowed on personal web sites.The security guard is not that friendly either. When I told him I was there to print c.v.s he waited for me to hit print and then walked to the printer to make sure I was telling the truth.I find that this is one of the worst places to job hunt. The woman in the blue vest is always talking loudly and it makes it really hard to compose a cover letter.I see people in the waiting area treated as though they are an inconvenience by the staff on the floor. Oftentimes, there are very few people in the computer area. I imagine it's because they're not made to feel very welcome.It's really too bad. There are a lot of impoverished people in the neighbourhood, and it would be a great resource to help get them off the streets; not everyone wants to be there. Some just made a wrong decision or had one bad circumstance that put them there.The woman with the curly hair and glasses working at the desk behind the glass today was kind.I also received services from an employment counselor years back. Her name is Sylvie Manços. She was so nice, honest and empathetic. She retired. I wish Service Canada would hire more people like her. She never made you feel bad for trying to find a job.Now I know why the place is only really busy when the Socual Assistance cheques are coming out; it's because those people are being treated like second class citizens. It's sad that getting service at Service Quebec is so rare.

This place needs more workers. One person for all makes the wait go for an hour easy. It's very slow.
