Ordered a tiny sandwich (for $18.38). Got back to work and the order was wrong. No lettuce. No mayo. I called and they just apologized. Didn't offer to correct it for me or anything. I didn't know what to say. For that price you'd expect to get what you ordered. Nope! And also to the reply... So the answer is I should order more food? I'm confused. Why would I spend more money after not getting what I ordered the first time.

I like how they serve unique items not found elsewhere. I had the tongue sandwich and the chopped liver sandwich. Both were hearty and tasty. They both come with a tasty Kosher pickle spear. The tongue sandwich has a thick wad of thinly cut tongue slices reminiscent of juicy hot dogs in taste. The chopped liver... Tastes like chopped liver.

The best sandwich I've had in a while at this place. The portion was generous, and the service was quick and efficient. The atmosphere was nice, and the place was clean and cozy.

Got there 15 minutes before closing. Wanted to get a sandwich. ‘Oh, the restaurant is closed now’.Small container of chopped liver… $18!!!

Another instalment of disappointing Jewish food in Vancouver. A sandwich, fries, and can of pop will cost you $30. Although I've seen some pictures in the reviews here with more generous portions, what I received was modest at best. Not even close to worth the price. The food itself was mediocre, I found the smoked meat to be dry and not particularly flavourful. Decent fries.Forgot to add, I almost walked out before ordering a sandwich after seeing the prices of the grocery items in the store. For example, they charge $11.99 for a 1L jar of Strub's pickles which is unjustifiable! They go for $7 or $8 in most major grocery stores.

Absolutely tasty. The tongue sandwich was juicy, tender and satisfying. I will be back to try the other sandwiches!

Delicious pastrami sandwiches! Would definitely recommend. While it may seem a bit pricier to some you can factor in the care that goes into the preparation and quality of their product (it is Kosher). Also tried their roast beef sandwich and Rueben sandwich with corned beef. While the roast beef and corned beef were a bit on the dry side they were definitely flavourful. Will be back for their pastrami and to try their smoked meat.

A gem. Delicious chopped liver, hummus, bagel chips, soup…!! Perfectly seasoned all. I think the gentleman who helped us was the owner: so warm and kind! Thank you. We’ll be back.

I know there's some inflation issues going on right now and thought that was the reason why I just spent $25 on a deli sandwich, fries and a coffee, but seeing reviews from a year ago makes me think otherwise.Love to get a breakdown on pricing. Is it usual for Kosher? Has the rent been increased?Quality wise the fries were the highlight of the meal, the Montreal smoked meat was nothing special and the coffee though decent was served with not single serve cream or milk but coffee whitener. I didn't even know that was a thing outside powder form. For whitespot prices I would expect more quality and portion.
