This is my dad’s favourite store! You can find everything from lumber to paint to boats here!The staff is super nice, greetings with a smile and always willing to order something in when they may not have it in stock. They have good sales and options for any renovation. The auto shop, store and even outdoor area are well kept.Would highly recommend!

Great local business with knowledgeable and friendly staff. I have used Tompkins for both our home and business renovations and I couldn’t be happier with the level of service. Quality products at fair prices. Delivery services are also a huge bonus.Just as important, Tompkins is very involved in community support and service. Emo is very fortunate to have this great business within their downtown.

Picked up my Yamaha side by side there today. Great folks to deal with. Everything was as we had agreed upon. I went to fill the gas tank up. IT WAS FULL. I have purchased a lot of vehicles and toys over the years. Never has this ever been the case. I will certainly be back there for my future needs.

Tomkins is simply the best hardware store in Northern Ontario. The staff are absolutely some of the most helpful and welcoming people out there and the selection of products is astounding for what seems like such a small location. Don't be fooled by the waterfront store though, as they service a massive area with a fleet of large delivery vehicles. Anything I've needed and they didn't have, they could order and the staff are always ready to offer their own knowledge to help with your project.
