Hubkins Restaurant- Vermilion
Pulled pork was ok. Brisket I would not recommend it was more of a bland over done roast. No smoke ring very little seasoning and tough. I highly doubt it was cooked low and slow. Corn bread was quite good. No offer of a refill on the fountain drinks. No beer or wine available. I will say some of the sandwiches looked good that others were having. Give it a try but this is a long way from quality BBQ.

Amazing food. Was in Vermilion for the weekend and chose Hubkins for lunch just by chance. We enjoyed it so much we went back for breakfast they next day. Prices are good, especially for the amount you get. And FYI the fries and hashbrowns are fresh cut, not the frozen, processed supermarket kind. Will definitely go back next time I'm in the area.

Nice stop for lunch.. Recommend for meat lovers, a lot of Vermilion history on the walls. Worth a try if you visit Vermilion town, AB

food is great! meat is great. cinnamon bun is fantastic! home cut fries and potatoes hit the spot. My wife loves the breakfast, daughter loves the bacon, everything is cook perfect. No pics becuase we ate it all

Had the smoked brisket combo, was more like old roast beef.. didn't resemble anything smoked at all. Service was terrible, waitress was rude when we asked about different meals and only replied with I don't know". Never came back to the table once to top up drinks. Took about 45 minutes to get our food. Corn bread was good though."

Service: definitely 5 /5Food: definitely 5/5Vibe: 5/5Price: definitely 5/5We stopped here for a clubhouse and burger. The quality of the burger was very good and delicious, with a bun that seemed very fresh. Great value and prices. The restaurant has fun historical pictures and artifacts, and service was great! Would like to come back for their bbq specials

I was excited to try this BBQ place, but was not impressed. The service was great. The Sides were awesome. What should have been the star of the show did not shine. The pulled pork sandwich had great flavor but unfortunately had no sauce and was very dry. My husband's meal of brisket and ribs had the same outcome.Perhaps due to first night open since March, it was just an oversight.

Would give more than 5* if we could.We table of 6 July 19 afternoon have never had such amazing service. She was so friendly and went overboard on the service. Then to only to have such a amazing meal. The ribs where so good so was everything everyone else had.Then to top if off they sell smoked dog bones!!! Which the dogs also LOVEDNow we only wished we lived closer so we could go there a lot more!! But for sure will be the place when we go back to Vermilion.
