OAK + FORT

I had one of the best shopping experiences ever earlier today. Noah and this other gentleman (I cannot remember his name) helped me today and were so considerate and intentional with their recommendations. They helped me pick out outfits after I told them I was shopping for Europe, which I was so happy with. I left feeling super comfortable and confident with what I had purchased. Such a great variety and amazing quality as well. Made my day :)

I really like oak fort clothes and some of the staff are really nice. However I think staff should learn how to prioritize what to do properly. There was at least about 3-4 customers (myself included) and 7 staff members. I can't account what all the staff were doing however, one of the staff was already helping another customer. Which is fine. However I'm waiting to pay and I've been waiting a while, and all I'm seeing is staff doing is folding clothes or bringing inventory/ one was standing at the cashier and I don't know reading sth?? AND FINALLY a person came to till. And I said I'm ready to pay. However that same guy that was helping someone told that other staff to keep doing what they were doing and told me he'll help me after he's done. 7 staff working and only 1 person can help the cashier? I don't know if I'm being sensitive but I don't think I'll be going to oak fort for a longggg time.

Today, the sales associate Brandon was super amazing. He was so welcoming, and super helpful to find clothing pieces I was eyeing on. He definitely went the extra mile to help track down a trench coat, call other stores to track down a jacket, and gave such great fashion advice. I felt so comfortable shopping here! Can’t wait to come back, keep up the great work Brandon!!

I ordered a jacket online for my girlfriend. When it came in, it was too big, so I ordered a smaller size with the intent of returning the larger one in the store. I read some reviews about customers complaining about the return policies of this store but I remained optimistic. I went to the WEM location store and they told me I’m only eligible for a store credit because the item was on sale. They don’t tell you in advance that you can’t buy two items online and exchange the other one, they’re suggesting you can only exchange items that you physically buy in-store and is strictly regular price. I wouldn’t normally care, but it’s the holidays and they made me spend an unexpected additional $80 for the right sized item. Very inefficient and management should consider changing this policy. The in-store manager did nothing about my issue, just issued me a gift card. I will never support this company again.

I never shopped here before , on Boxing Day I purchased a jacket and took it home and was too long . Went back to return and I was told no returns on this purchase . When I bought it the girl told me it’s ok you have 30 day to return . Sketchy management . Young fellow told the clerk not to return . Retailers like this deceive people by misleading information at the time of purchase . Be careful . Make sure you get in writing on the receipt if you shop there .My kids spend all kind of money there .Rip off greesy management .the girl who was helping me was very nice .

DON’T SHOP HERE IF YOU PLAN ON NOT SPENDING MONEY!! I love this store so, so much and as someone who used to spend my paycheques at Aritzia, oak + fort has much better quality styles for the price you pay. I have converted so many of my friends into shopping here! I remember feeling a bit intimidated walking into the store for the first time because of how fancy the store looked and I expected to experience the same kind of service that you get at Aritzia but I was wrong. Everyone is so friendly; you are greeted when you walk in and people are checking on you and even help make suggestions on what to try on in the fitting room which I love. I specifically want to shout out Fadya and Brandon. They were so, so helpful and friendly when my friend and I were in the store last weekend. I always have an amazing experience at this location!

I went new years evening dress shopping this weekend. After just about giving up finding something I walk in and I’m immediately greeted by a tall male (I wish I caught his named) who got me started in a dressing room, courtesy grabbed my items I had picked out so far, and then asked if he could help me pick out some things.I went to the dressing room and I believe their names were Tony and Taylor who helped me. I ended up finding stuff at such a good price. At the till the cashier was sooo friendly too. Wow. Just a great experience. These staff do their job well.

Oak+Fort is my favourite place to shop. The store is clean and organized and the staff are all so kind and helpful. I shop here a lot and realize that I always get the best full guest experience which makes spending my money so much easier! Shout out to Brandon who greeted me with a kind smile and offered to start a fitting room for me. He further went to the back to find me several different sizes and styles for clothes that I tried on/didn’t work for me. He was able to go back and forth with no complains to find me the perfect fit for all the clothes I brought into the fitting room. He was also helpful when trying to decide between sizes and colours. Overall Brandon was kind, extremely helpful, and has great fashion insight/opinion! Love Oak+ Fort and the whole team.

I came here really upset, due to a really bad customer experience at Aritzia. Immediately one of the staff here greeted me with a smile, and asked if she could help. She told me it was only her second day and she was so kind! Next thing you know herself and 2 other staff are styling me and making me feel so welcomed, confident, and excited for my event. I didn’t feel like I was a bother. They knew every piece in that store (especially the gentleman there) which made it so easy to ask for what I wanted. I am converted ! An Oak and Fort girl from now on. Thank you so much for the pleasant experience Team West Ed!
