Johnston's Towing & Repair

I called CAA to change my flat tire on June 9, 2022. The service technician did an excellent job and made sure to check the tire pressure on my spare.The rim was taken off without a scratch and I was pleased with the work (see photo of tire in trunk).I wound up receiving a second flat tire on June 10, 2022 and required a tire change again. The second service technician scrapped my rim in each spot where the lug nuts were, to the point that the metal started to shred below the paint (see attached photos). This rim was a month old :(Update: After filing a complaint with CAA about the damage, the company turned around and said that because I signed a waiver they're not responsible. It should be noted that they didn't not deny the damage, they simply do not stand behind their own actions. In addition, when I signed the waiver it was presented to me as a waiver against the damages that could incur if I drove on my spare for too long and that it had to be torqued to a certain amount, not an all encompassing damages waiver. Finally, in the moment I was not actively looking for damages done to my rim, as I expected it to be done in a clean and professional manner, so I signed thinking that I would be ok for any damages that may occur from me driving on my spare.THANKS FOR RUINING MY MONTH OLD RIM AND NOT STANDING BEHIND YOUR OWN WORK

Called CAA these guys accept the tow. Call and say we will be right there to get you. And then Because I want it tow 20k to shop I know they decline it so its going to be 90 min for alternate towing service. The should be dropped by CAA on this basis. Unbelievable a towing company

Atrocious business, lied about being a repair shop and attempted to take advantage of my partner when they were in an accident. Sleazy

On time. Friendly did a difficult job without complaint. Shared his experience. Easy to recommend

Staff all told me different things. Failed to explain that they charge per night just for the privilege" of holding the car there. Said it was a write off

Responded to a tow call, showed up and told me they would need to go get a different truck and then left me waiting there for 2 hours before dropping the service call and making another shop pick it up.

This towing company is absolutely amazing. I Was broken down on the side of the 115 with heavy traffic flying by and I called Caa and was told Johnston’s towing would be there within 20 minutes and he shows up in no longer than 10 min and a gentleman named brady jumped out of the truck and asked if I was okay and asked what the problem was I told him my alternator belt broke and told him my ride was on there way. He insisted I come get in his truck to keep warm while I wait for my ride to get there. He loaded my car up fast and efficiently not damaging it and then came up in the truck and sat and talked to me until my wife showed up. Polite professional fast and efficient. Will recommend this company to all my friends and family. Thanks very much again Johnston’s towing and the driver Brady.

My car got stuck in a ditch and I called CAA who sent Steve from Johnston's Towing. Steve was awesome,, so careful with my car. He was funny, personable and caring, just what I needed after I felt so ridiculous for the spot I had found myself in. Thanks Steve.

Broken down on the side of the road, called CAA and was told approx 45 minutes for a tow. Within minutes I had a call from Johnston’s they would be there within 10min. They were sure to bring the right truck and we’re very diligent to ensure no damage was done to the vehicle. Driver even asked what was wrong just in case it was a quick fix. Definitely the best service I have ever had with towing. They made a very stressful situation so much easier. Thank you!!

Extremely unprofessional and no accountability. They will do more damage to your property and will do nothing about it. CAA should drop the contract with this sleazy Tow company. Avoid them is you can.
