So I called to make a complaint about a car I recently bought which wasn't properly safetied and paying $400 for it to pass should've been a red flag to the enforcement division. The person I made a claim to over the phone was nice and understandable but when it comes to the enforcement officer, he didn't seem to have read nor cared about review my claim in full because it also mentioned the name of the garage that did the dubious safety test and only cared about me telling the list of problems the car has and none of them to this officer barely fits the MINIMUM STANDARDS??? Such as RUSTED BRAKE LINES? LOOSE AXLES THAT COULD GIVE OUT AT ANY MOMENT?? I was told to waste more money on another safety test which I'm not inclined to do. I think the safety standards should be overhauled because having a safety test is pointless if there some or more garages out there are barely doing a safety test and only care about making money off of it BECAUSE OF THOSE SO CALLED MINIMUM STANDARDS. Of course not gonna be the last they hear similar situation from the same garage I went to cuz one day someone's life is gonna be endanger for just coughing up $400 or more.

Embarrassed that this organization is run by the government, yes you wait over 1 hour on the line to get connected with a representative, just to get disconnected before having a chance to dispute your unlawfully given ticket. So sad the system is built this way and we as citizens cannot do anything about it. You should be ashamed

Edit: Called at another time and phone was answered. The person answering was responsive and understanding. Increasing stars from one to three. Original: Good luck getting ahold of anyone to let them know of a serious highway maintenance issue. No one answers the phone line which simply hangs up on you. Why have a phone number?
