Had my birthday dinner here on a quiet Wednesday night. There were only 3 other tables besides us, but service was slow. Ambiance feels luxurious with the high ceilings and impressive wine cellar.The food is Michelin star quality and I enjoyed every bite. The only dish I didn't care for was the octopus. I found the tomato marmalade too sour. We ordered 3 appies, a pasta and a steak to share and it was filling.Servers were attentive, we had our plates changed for every course. However, there was too much wait time between each course (30 min between appies & pasta). Our server came over to apologize to tell us 'this is embarrassing but I forgot to punch in the next course so it'll be a wait, but luckily it's quick to make.' That's not something I expected to hear at a Michelin recommended restaurant, and they didn't offer to give us anything while we waited.When you make a reso online, you're given the option to purchase a small/medium/large cake. It's a tiramisu cake that's made freshly in house. I was pretty full so they cut a piece for us and I took the rest home. Again, a long wait between our last dish and dessert.

Having read mixed reviews, we decided to try the restaurant in person to have an early birthday celebration. The 4 of us went for tasting menu. Service was very friendly & attentive & not overly formal. Food was good but not great. They wrote “Happy Birthday” in Italian on my dessert plate. Overall, a nice but not memorable dinner.Street-Parking in front of the restaurant (Homer Street) is $1/ hour.

Artestry for the pallet. Everything you'd expect from fine Itallian cuisine. Layout and design impeccable. Creative Mixologists. Courtesous staff, showed us the private wine reserve. Extensive wine and Grappa selection. Even has rental" lockers for patrons to store their own libations. Price point is on the higher end

This is a restaurant that’s been around for a while but I’m not sure why I haven’t tried it until now.It’s on the Michelin recommended guide and you’re immediately greatly by friendly staff who open doors and walk you through the restaurant to your table. There, you’re greeted by your server and the manager at some point will come by to see how you’re doing as well.The food is top notch! It very much fits the bill of a high end Italian restaurant. Definitely go and check this place out when you’re in the mood for some high end pasta, pizzas, and Italian style dishes. Can’t say enough of the truffles too, love the carpaccio!I do recommend making a reservation, though the restaurant is quite big and sometimes walk ins are available earlier in the evening.

There were not many customers tonight since it's a weekday. I went to celebrate my bday and I was so appreciative and happy with everything they did to make it extra special including a hand written card, free sparkling prosecco wine, and a candle on complimentary dessert. Everyone wished me happy bday when we were leaving.

Delicious Truffle Pizza! Went for lunch and sat on the Terrace. Lovely ambiance, great service, and food was SO good. Great place to go if you work around the area especially on a nice day. Their Terrace makes you feel like you're not in Vancouver but somewhere on vacation. Thank you!

My girlfriend and I just had dinner here last night. I must say, the service was excellent. About 15 feet away from the front entrance, they opened the door for us and welcomed us like we were special guests. Our server Michael was most definitely the highlight besides the food. He was very relaxed, calm collected and friendly af, which made us ease up more in a fine dining restaurant. Great conversationalist and always making sure we had everything we needed and checking in. The manager also checked in on us which was appreciated. The food was excellent including the best lobster I’ve ever had thus far. The timing of service was perfect as well.I Gael and everyone who served us knew the makings of each dish by heart. Overall, excellent food, perfect portion sizes, great cocktails, and top tier service. Thank you :)

Food, drink and atmosphere were awesome! The highlight was having Nathan as our server for the whole evening! We felt welcomed and had a great conversation with him. I am hoping Nathan can serve our table at the next visit. Can’t wait to try their lunch menu in a week.

We came here for dinner a couple of months ago and enjoyed a tasting for 4. There was a misunderstanding on the menu but after some follow up correspondence with them, courteous management, a gift card was provided to us for the next visit.On the night of, our server was wondeful and we made it a point to convey the same in our follow up.The tasting menu was a treat and we look forward to trying more of their seasonal offerings.

Legit pocket pick for Italian restaurants in Vancouver. Service is amazing, Michael really took care of us on our 2nd anniversary date. Attentive, funny, caring, amazing service. Chef was on fire, personal top pick was the pasta del giorno, which happened to be a pistachio risotto w/ beef tongue, candied pecans and burrata. The wife's top pick was the oyster ceviche. Chef's a whiz with the sauces. The patio is absolutely perfect for spring/summer, feels like an elevated Roman garden.
