Richmond Blacktop

Richmond Blacktop took my original cracked uneven, pieces missing, concrete driveway & literally transformed it into a 3 car asphalt driveway. Also removed concrete from my 2 car garage and re- poured an 8’x23’ wide concrete replacement suspended slab, but they didn’t stop there. They also framed & built me a beautiful 8’x18’ concrete deck out of 24”x24” slabs, I can’t express how happy we are with the work they performed. A few words to describe Richmond Blacktop, Competitively priced, Down to earth, Respectful, Knowledgeable, Definitely Dependable, & Honest to a Fault. They made sure that I was and am 100% satisfied with their work and offered me a 3 Year Warranty, better than all the other companies that quoted for the job. We were looking for a company paving a new basketball court. We saw the five-star google rating and went with the company. It started quite well in the beginning. Before applying the paint we pointed out that the surface is very coarse and we expected a smoother result. The company promised they can correct it with paint. The paint didn’t solve the issue. You can’t use paint as filler. Completely wrong assumption. The company insisted that more paint (to pay by us) will increase the result. We did not believe that and hired another company for consultation. They attested that Richmond Blacktop used a road grade asphalt, which is not suitable for our application. We confronted the company with this information and were hoping for a solution. Paint and that our standards are too high were the only response. We tried to reach out to the management. Ed refused to give us the contact information. I drove to their office, which appeared not to exist. The entire thing got very fishy.They might be good for road jobs but sports applications are not their strong suit. Very disappointing experience.
