Airbrushing 4u Design & Supply

I am a 2nd year student attending Sheridan's Makeup for Media and Creative Arts program that completed my 20 hour placement at this studio. The main goal of my placement was to develop an airbrush body-art design suitable for industry related work that I could include in my portfolio.It was a fantastic experience, Frank was extremely thorough when explaining the creative design process. He helped me think of an appropriate concept as well as encouraged me to research and form a background story. This then helped me create a rough sketch, where I was able to visualize what elements I would include and figure out the overall placement of the design in proportion to the body.When the sketch was finalized, Frank walked me through different airbrushing techniques I could use to my advantage. He also encouraged me to use divergent thinking, where he taught me to think of all the possible ways I could break down and build-up each individual part of the design. For example, Frank suggested to not limit myself to just using an airbrush and instead utilize skills I am comfortable with to achieve optimal results. As a result, I ended up using bodypainting as a base for more intricate parts of the design, then I used my airbrush to add highlights and shadows to create depth.Frank was a amazing teacher and was always eager to help with any questions or concerns I presented to him. After finishing my design and placement, I now feel much more confident in my ability to produce work that is up to industry standard and how to effectively manage my time through a proper design process.If you are thinking of getting into airbrush body-art as a career and want to take your skills to the next level, I would highly recommend carrying out your placement here!

I wanted him to work on a mask i designed the guy told me he was busy to do it...he just didnt seem like he was interested in doing it at all...

Visited the store today to get paints and advice. The Owner helped me out a lot, gave me some great tips and honest feedback. I’m sure I’ll be back in the future for more supplies and with more questions. The Owner is clearly an expert in the field and willing to share his experience with others.

Spent an entire day with Frank and others basic 101 class from 10 to 6 pm - the day flew Frank was clear and detailed with his instructions , he brought in help so everybody could get help or ask a question during the actual practice paint - he supplied lunch, stencils and materials - Ive been back twice to buy material and purchased up graded gun off Frank - Not a single complaint I’m hooked

Frank is a super talented guy and his workmanship is second to none. I've ordered many items from him throughout the years ranging from custom t-shirts, hoodies, carpet with a portrait etc. The work is unbelievable and if you're looking for high quality airbrush work this is the man to see.

As a fellow industry professional, I can easily say Frank has expertise you can trust. One of the only places in the Greater Toronto Area where I can go and get whatever I need to do with airbrushing and Frank has always provided assistance in a very pleasant and helpful manner. They also offer unique services and products. That person that posted a 1 star review is being very unfair I think.
