We weren't expecting too much from a wedding coordinator. Others recommended it, so we decided to learn more. We interviewed several coordinators but didn't feel excited about it. But, after meeting with Sherry, her fun, bubbly, and energetic personality and her knowledge about the industry made us seal the deal with her. She is informative, super detail oriented, and made us feel at ease. We learned a lot and felt confident Sherry would take care of the details and help us enjoy our day.Planning the little details was already stressful enough, on top of work and other responsibilities. She asked thoughtful questions and saw unforeseen things that most people wouldn't have thought about. It was everything I had hoped for on the wedding day but better. She even put together all of the decor details like I had envisioned and coordinated with my florist to suggest I place my flowers elsewhere so they would be in the photographs. I know the timing, like photography, went a bit long but Sherry pivoted quickly and found a solution. Everybody after the wedding told me it was one of the most organized and fun weddings they've ever attended and complimented Sherry and her assistant on a job well done. The best money we have ever spent! Sherry and Dawn went above and beyond the expectations of a day-of coordinator. They were indispensable in making our day run smoothly. They are pleasant, calm, and highly organized. Sherry was very approachable and always willing to help with any questions we had. We felt comfortable knowing they were taking care of everything and we were able to really enjoy our wedding day because of that. We had the pleasure of working with Sherry of Aleia Weddings for my wedding in August 2022. I have only great things to say about working with Sherry. We hired her day-of coordination services but she went above and beyond her scope of work. Her attention to detail is unbelievable. She was respectful with how we wanted our day to be like and she asked all the right questions to make sure our timeline for the day made sense.For our rehearsal, we had Sherry and Dawn present. They made everyone feel comfortable and were courteous and polite to all our family members and gave great advise for walking down the aisle.As for our wedding day, both Sherry and Dawn looked after us. They make sure everything was taken care of so we could relax and enjoy. Dawn in particular helped me calm down before walking down the aisle. Sherry was like a family member, bridesmaid and coordinator all at once. Whether it came to helping me with my dress, making sure we ate or facilitating the events of the day, Sherry was there. My family members were raving about her professionalism and demeanour.I will 10000% be recommending Sherry to anyone who will be looking for wedding planning and coordination. If you think planning and coordinating your own wedding is easy and you think you can do it yourself then you are wrong!I am a 'planner' myself and we really glad we reached out to Sherry for her help on our wedding and she's done an excellent job!!! Sherry is really friendly, very consistent, super helpful, and her level of detail is beyond our expectation.We had a lot 'surprise' changes before our wedding and Sherry helped us handled all of them. Working with Sherry was great every single step of the way. Sherry was so helpful throughout the wedding planning process and she went above and beyond with the day of timeline to make sure every detail had been looked over. We felt so ready for the wedding knowing everything was so organized.The week of, we reached out to our vendors with our timelines, etc. and we found out that Sherry had already contacted them with all the important info! Sherry is the best!! When people ask me how I was feeling during the planning of the wedding, I would always say that I was weirdly calm and feeling good about it (because it was the truth!) - and they would all be surprised as this an unusual sentiment for brides-to-be.. Sherry was absolutely delightful!We adored working with Sherry because it was immediately evident that she wanted to bring our vision of a perfect wedding day to life. It really felt like she was with us every step of the way-- she was engaged in every major decision and frequently offered her expertise and opinions. Aleia Weddings was recommended to me by a friend of a friend, as I was planning a Vancouver wedding out of Toronto. The experience couldn't have been more seamless. This was the best investment I could have made in my wedding.Sherry's attention to detail planned for every small thing so I was able to fully enjoy my wedding day! She made me think about things I hadn't even considered throughout the planning process. She captured the vision of my wedding so quickly and guided me to great vendor recommendations. She was even the one to recommend the venue we ended up choosing (and absolutely loved!)Sherry was also clearly very experienced. She provided guidance in decisions like wedding cake and reception program. We held our rehearsal with both her and Dawn, and it was a game-changer.
