Swim Time Woodbridge

We were sad to have to leave our prior swim schools when we re-located to Woodbridge but it was made to be such a smooth transition thanks to the incredible staff here. The instructors, supervisor, and front desk staff have all been nothing short of exceptional. We are so happy here! My sons have both excelled significantly in such a short amount of time but more importantly their love for swimming has grown. Thank you Swim Time staff!

-Parent and Tot program is not the best, it is NOT interactive at all, does not engage the kids at all. The instructor only allows babies to play with 1-2 toys, (from a massive basket of toys that is off to the side). There is no progression in terms of new things taught. SO for the whole 8 sessions, the children are doing the same thing over and over again. Children do not learn anything new of they have mastered some of the basic skills and expectations. Instructor also didn't seem too enriched in how to host and teach babies. My husband went in the pool with no background knowledge of how to even hold my son in the water, and he wasn't taught that. Strategies or technique was not taught...Towards the end of the session, once the other instructors are out waiting for the next group of kids, everyone is just chatting away, (including the instructor that is in the water with the babies). Such a disappointment.My husband also complained to the owner/supervisor about the water being cold a few times we went in and they denied it. At one point someone had to come out with a thermometer to check the temp and it was actually cooler than what they say it's suppose to be.We complained and were instructed to drive all the way to Thornhill for 3 free classes". Thankfully

I have been a client of this swim school for 5 years now- and currently have 3 kids in the program. I have been extremely happy with the program, the instructors and the supervisors. My oldest has learned incredible swim technique and skills and they show a wonderful level of patience w my youngest who took some time to get comfortable going into the classes. Excellent swim school overall. Would highly recommend.

Loved attending swim time as a kid and then being able to learn how to become a swim instructor and teach! Friendly staff and awesome environment for learning!

My son came from different school with good skills. They placed him here 3 levels below his level at different school. He was learning basics again instead of improving on his skills. Looks like they ate more concerned about the money. Also there is only one specific day for make up class and only one booking for make is allowed.

Not impressed with the teaching style. Kids spend more time sitting and waiting than actual swimming. Instead of letting them chat to other students while one of the students swims with the instructor, why not ask those waiting to practice some kicks (or do something related to swim)? We moved to a community center classes after Swim Time, and were told that based on the kids' actual swimming abilities, they are at a lower level than Swim Time indicated. Not sure if different grading system is used.

Due to Covid 19 I do not want to send my kids back and don't think I will because no knows what is going on with this virus. Asked for my deposit back and Allison refused. This is the second time I spoke to this lady once you go along with the script of ebrything they've implemented and don't worry your deposit will always be there they are good with you. When you express your fears they do not care that people have legit fears of the virus and refuse to return deposits. Greedy business.

The best

This is more for younger kids. I did not have the best experience. The instructor was not personable. My kids did not want to go. Management did follow up and address the issue. However for the money you pay its not the best .

My daughter had been having swimming lessons at the community centre for the last two years.. always remaining at level 2 and never advancing. She was scared of water and they never really pushed her enough in the water. At Swim Time with Giuliana she did well right from the get go. She is not as afraid anymore and has done very well in her lessons. I am so happy that she has learned all the necessary requirements for her swim level. She has demonstrated more confidence in the water and is more eager to learn more. Giuliana is also very patient, kind and wonderful with kids and I like the fact that she pushes her to achieve the next goal. Thank you. We are so grateful!!
