A hidden gem for sure. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. Beautiful scenery while walking through the paths. Reasonable prices and healthy looking plants. Lots of unique and original art work throughout.

First time visitor! Amazing!!! Well worth the drive from Ottawa. Amazing selection of unusual plants/trees. All well cared for and very reasonably priced. Beautiful grounds to take a walk and very friendly staff. Will be coming back soon!

You can tell this place is a labour of love. Beautiful setting to stroll around. Someone had told us the nursary plants were bit pricey, but the plants are large and very healthy. Way better value than your run of the mill garden center. 100% worth the drive.

Rideau Woodland Ramble
This is a garden centre like no other I've seen. A beautiful selection of plans and yes all set in a whimsical ramble of lily ponds, fountains, sculptures and garden art. You can sit any watch the world go buy or by high quality plants. The owner is also a wildlife artist and has a studio on the site. Finally the staff are knowledgeable and helpful and much of the time the owners are staffing the checkout. Oh, and it's just outside the beautiful, historic village of Burrits Rapids

Rideau Woodland Ramble
Visiting from Manitoba. Stopped in on a leisurely drive today. What a surprise and delight. A dream garden everywhere we looked. The plants are incredible and displayed so methodically. The mulch trials in the woods were so beautiful. The koi pond! The interesting variety of trees we would never expect in Canada. What a set up. Thanks for the selection of plants we purchased for my in-laws garden here. And we will be back next summer for sure. The staff and Hunter (handsome cat) were lovely

There are natural nurseries, ponds, art-designed courtyards, and many plants that are not available elsewhere. Because there are a lot of mosquitoes, be prepared to prevent mosquitoes, haha

What a beautiful hidden gem! A variety of Plants and trees to be purchased and trails to explore with ornaments to make a smile or a laugh. Lots of benches to just sit and take in the peaceful surroundings. A pond with large koi and a fountain too. A small cottage with art works. Even a porta potty when you have to go. No fee to ramble but donations are appreciated.

Lovely garden centre. We drove from Ottawa. The place is magical. Even had a nice pond with Koi fish! Found ourselves a beautiful Japanese maple tree. Definitely coming back here.
