Passport Health Chinook - Calgary Travel Clinic

1) Prices are much higher than other travel clinics - consultation fees + vaccine prices are higher. You would expect a more premium service for higher price but read on....2) They don't submit vaccine records to Alberta Health, so your medical record on netcare is not up to date. They do not have access to your vaccine record either through Netcare. We had to supply that ourselves3) When you call, the phone call goes to a call center, not the actual clinic. The call center is in the US somewhere. The actual clinic is a very light operation with a freelancing nurse.4) Receipts they give you do not meet the standards of certain insurance companies. Upon calling Passport health, they weren't able to provide the information insurance companies require. So you end up paying for everything out of pocket. Call center does not have access to medical records so you are out of luck.

Excellent travel clinic with thoughtful advice. I submitted my medical history in advance, which prepared the nurses very well and allowed them to point out all the boosters I was eligible to, which I hadn't thought of. Every possible vaccine and med for my trip was discussed, not just the essential ones. I definitely recommend this clinic to anyone travelling abroad.

I brought my baby girl here for her Bexsero shots and Jane was an excellent Nurse! She was very kind and friendly and best of all she was very experienced and provided exceptional vaccination skills for our baby. The clinic was also really nice and clean. We are so pleased with our experience and would definitely recommend her to our friends and family. :)''

Great experience, my nurse (Zara) was prompt, friendly, knowledgeable and a very light touch with the injections. She was able to answer all my questions and provide no-BS answers of the positives and negatives of everything. 6/5 if I could give an extra star.

Went in for a Mantoux test, quick and easy. Nurse on staff was amazing, answering any questions I had. Would book through Passport again!

I was very impressed with how welcoming and non-stressful my appointment was at Passport Health Chinook. The vaccines and procedures that I needed to be aware of were explained clearly and there was no pressure to take on more medication than I was comfortable with. I was given very helpful information regarding these procedures and how it would be coordinated with my pharmacist. The clinic nurse, Kristin, gave me peace of mind that I could get more help in the future and have any further medical/travel questions answered so I could be best prepared for my journey.
