Sky Lounge

The place is empty. There were more people working than customers on a Friday night.The venue is cool, but no one there. Sad

WAS A Great experience working there while it lasted and the GM is great as per the club/organisation it’s something.With all the changes I see it’s getting rough and aggressive in there not the sky I know. Oh also I am not to return apparently for not valid reason so see you all else where .

Be very aware of what you are being charged. Prices are 20% higher than listed on the menu. No indication was made to a service charge so it isn't possible to tell who's pocket this is padding. Be very careful not to be taken advantage of.As I have attached a photo of the menu it is very clear that an auto gratuity is not made clear (the bottom of the menu does not state 20% will be added to the bill nor were we informed by staff) Stating an absence of a gratuity does not imply that one will be forcefully added

The place has a nice vibe. Service was good.Went for a Bollywood night. The DJ could have been better.

This is a lovely space with a great view out the window and music that’s not just mumble rap, which is shocking nowadays. The bartenders were very friendly and prices were decent, but the coat check situation ruined the experience. As soon as 2am hit, the staff yelled at us to leave as if there were bombs in the building. And then, worst of all, you’re forced to wait outside in the freezing cold to line up for your jacket. I’ve never seen such a ridiculous and irresponsible setup at a club. That’s not only discourteous but seriously dangerous. I tried to wait on the stairs but they forced me to wait outside in a thin dress shirt. I can’t imagine how some people who wear even less must feel.

It's the only place in eastern Ontario and western Quebec with these characteristics.I do enjoy the time I spend there.It's definitely one of kind.

I’ve been to sky lounge multiple times, the space itself is actually beautiful especially in the summer when they are able to open their windows. Their events are creative and intriguing. The reason I gave 2 stars is because, in my own experience it does get extremely overcrowded, I can visibly tell the bartenders are overwhelmed and leads to paying customers feeling ignored. In my opinion waiting over 25 mins sitting at the bar for a drink is discouraging and doesn’t make me want to come back. Especially when you go in with the intentions to have fun or celebrate a birthday. I feel if they had more bartenders they would make more money and keep their customers happy. Piggybacking on the overcrowding issue I can also visibly notice the security being overwhelmed and in some cases taking advantage of their authoritative position for no good reason. To go into more detail, the last time I was at sky lounge was 10 days ago. We went to celebrate my boyfriends 21st birthday, we went on a Wednesday . Before midnight there were multiple broken beer bottles and full drinks spilled all over the dance floor due to this my boyfriend slipped and fell, security saw this and instead of helping clean and remove the safety hazard (broken glass) he kicked out my boyfriend on his birthday and didn’t care or listen to what he had to say, with no reevaluation of the situation. Needless to say it completely ruined our special night and we ending up going home very disappointed.

One of the best night club in Ottawa.Always a great experience. Cheap drinks,great customer service and pretty good security.Just one thing not clean enough.

Had the time of my life here. Things got a little crazy. DJ was really good too!
