Rice To Go Chinese Restaurant

Fast a friendly service. The portion sizes are large. The food is cooked well but lacks in flavour. The Szechuan Beef and Curry Chicken show that they are spicy on the menu but they don’t even have a hint of spiciness.

Ordered from here for the first time. Food tasted great, the delivery was on time, and the delivery driver was super nice. Lots of food for what you pay, great value. Overall really good experience, would definitely order again.

Just ordered the Combination Dinner for One (Combo.A) & the food was absolutely incredible! I've been disappointed by other chinese takeout places lately and thought I would try somewhere new and I'm so glad I did. Huge portions (ended up sharing with a friend) and the szechuan/ginger beef was incredible. Mixed beef and veggies was delicious and the meat wasn't chewy at all, super tender. Got a giant (size of my hand) egg roll that was tasty as well. Everything, for the amount of food you get, was decently priced. I will definitely be back as a regular from now on and I will be telling all my friends and family to check this place out as well! 5 stars well deserved!

Some chicken,not a lot, 2 pieces of Broccoli, 2 pieces of carrot. Flavor decent. Noodles weak. Better noodles would help. But the worst part was $8.25 for a small bowl worth $4 maxSalt & Pepper Chicken - Outstanding. Most times you get 60% Chicken and 40% Vegetables. This dish is 90% Chicken. Plus the seasonings are bang on. I'll go visit here just to order this +++++Beef And Rice Noodles in Black Bean Sauce. Absolutely outstanding. Lots of Beef. The Black Bean Sauce is nice and thick. I was trying to figure something out for dinner and looking to try somewhere i hadn't been before.I thought I'd give Rice to Go a try as they have positive reviews.I ordered some chicken fried rice, lemon chicken and brocolli beef, all 3 dishes came out to just under $54.After having spent $80? At pf changs this was a steal.Rice to Go as the name implies is just a take out and maybe delivery resturaunt, there's no sitting in and eating.I placed my order 20 minutes before they closed and they were happy to take it, some places shut their kitchen down 30 minutes before close so this was nice.I kind of expected the food might not be good as this close to close one doesn't always get quality.That was not the case, the chicken fried rice were delicious and hot, great amount of chicken chunks and good ribbons of eggs throughout. I personally hate when places skimp on the egg and chicken in the fried rice, thankfully this was not the case.The lemon chicken was delicious, a large portion which one would hope for at $18 and the batter was crisp. The lemon sauce was also very tasty. I will say my friend doesn't like it and found the batter to be too much for his taste. However for me I thought it was great.The broccoli beef was in my opinion the weakest dish, it was good, the broccoli tasty but the beef wasn't at the level of the fried rice and lemon chicken.Ill definetly try this place again as the chicken fried rice and lemon chicken were fantastic.

Extremely polite employees. They’re always friendly and do their very best to have your food prepared as quick as possible. The food has alway come out hot and delicious and there are several menu items.I highly recommend the salt and pepper squid, along with the spicy dry tofu. Peppercorn beef is another favorite, and you can choose your spicy level.

Ordered delivery for the first time tonight, and the food was really fresh and tasty! Generous portions and arrived hot. Usually, I regret ordering westernized Chinese food about an hour after I eat it… But not tonight! This might be my new go-to place :)

My favorite Chinese food in Edmonton. Go to the Cannabis store, get a J, and then order this for munchies, you willBe In heaven.It’s always hot and fresh and absolutely delicious. They always delivery very fast I never waited long. I really recommend the special egg foo young and lemon chicken - SO GOOD!!!!

Nice new addition to the westend as decent Chinese food is tough to find unless downtown. Take out only here and they were busy on a Friday night. Ordered a meal for 4 and the servings were jam-packed and smoking hot. Took about 20 mins or so for our food but the staff were very apologetic for the wait and tossed in some extra spring rolls for me which was a kind gesture. The value for what you get is exceptional and of course each dish tasted great and seasoned perfectly. An added bonus for me was the food wasn't swimming in oil and had generous portions of meat, unlike other westend Chinese restaurants. This place will be a regular stop for our family for sure.

Ordered beef w/rice noodles, Singapore noodles, pea pods and beef and sweet and sour pork and it was excellent! Delivery was super quick and even got a free bottle of pop. Prices were super reasonable compared to the two other places I like and portions were generous. Haven't ordered from here for over a year, but I'm glad I did this time! Thanks for the great food and service.
