Great experience overall with the company. I ordered the small zip up knife roll for quick days at work. Durable and looks really great. Shipped quickly, and responded to my emails same day. Definitely recommend, I’ll be ordering a travel bag soon.

Purchased a bag from chef sac great design, lots of storage, and just a cool looking bag.A rivet broke after a couple of days .Messaged chef sac they replied in 2 hours, exchanged some information and in four days they had sent me a new bag. No work or $ on my end new bag is rock sold . great customer service they really look out for you and your money. Would recommend to anyone

Just an amateur / hobby chef here. Been using their chef bags for the past few months. Everything holds up. I like the their knife backpack design. Get great compliments and feedback whenever I show up to an event. Would recommend.

I accidentally purchased the wrong color and i emailed the company to get it changed right away and I got a response right away stating they were correcting the order. The packaging is extremely safe I must say. The box the bookbag was in was sealed with a Chef Sac sticker which made the packaging look nice and fancy! Once you open the box it has a bunch of super cool quotes about chef's and what they are and what they go through. The backpack looks amazing, I cannot wait to see the look on my husband's face when he sees his new bag. Not to mention I got the bag in two days!! Company deserves 5 stars! Love it! Thank you!

Perfect for Culinary Classes! Their chef bag primarily to store and transport knives to/from my cooking class. It is perfect! It is very well-made, comfortable, and helps keep all of my cooking tools and utensils organized. I also got plenty of compliments from other students. Very pleased with this purchase.

Edit 2.0: after 2.5 month wait, the knife guards were finally delivered. They are what I expected and the variety of lengths and widths give me a good selection to use on my ( too many) knives. I do think that being able to build a custom 10 pack might be a useful option as I had one extra paring guard and one less 10 inch gyuto/ chef knife guard than needed( I knew what I was buying, just a personal observation)Customer service was excellent and they communicated well, but the option to cancel my order or wait wasn't what I was expecting when the COO replied to my earlier review. Those options were already on the table.Will still recommend bags and guards to anyone looking.Edit: based on the prompt communication and reply to my review I have updated my star rating. To be clear, I think the bags themselves are amazing, and as a professional chef find them extremely useful. I do appreciate covid 19 supply issues and understand, but approaching two months of delays is... a lot. Having said that, clearly, overall the customer centric approach to business is spot on.I ordered a knife bag and some guards from chef sac a few months ago. I do love the bag, the design is excellent and accommodates all my knives while traveling. If it had just been the bag it'd be a 5 star review.HOWEVER. I ALSO ordered a set of knife guards to use with the bag. The site indicated they were in stock but i got an email telling me they were delayed. Very kind of them, so I've been waiting. The thing is... I keep getting emails every few weeks that there is delay after delay. The website still continues to list knife guards... I feel it's very disingenuous to list them knowing they have been out of stock for months and that they are actively aware of delays. One temporary out of stock I can accept. Although I appreciate the updates and communication , I am extremely disappointed in this portion of the order.

Awesome customer experience with Keith @ chef sac! I sent him an emailing thinking that there was an issue with the stitching on the velcro. I received a response in minutes explaining that it was designed like that (input from users like me.) But because i was concerned, he sent me a new one without any hesitation. This is typical customer service that you would expect at any good service oriented companies... Keith however, followed up with a email with tracking info.... and then he followed up to ensure that i received the replacement... Chef Sac has earned a customer for life!

I bought one of their bags as a birthday present for my husband back at the end of Dec/beginning of Jan. Well, in March the bag along with all of my husband's knives were stolen. He was devastated and so with father's day coming up, I decided I would start the process of replacing what was lost, starting with this bag that he loved (he has owned many knife bags over the years and said that this one was by far his favorite one). I reached out to the company in hopes of receiving a coupon or something, for maybe a small percentage off the new one since times have been hard with this pandemic. Not only was I unsure if the email I was contacting was even monitored by a real human but I wasn't sure that I would hear anything back even if it was. I was pleasantly surprised to see a response first thing the next morning from Keith (an employee for the company, I assume) offering to completely replace the bag free of charge. They understood the horrible circumstances and felt terrible about what had happened. Not only were they giving some seriously AMAZING customer service but they really helped us out in this time of need. My husband has resigned the idea of replacing his knives due to all of the circumstances going on in our lives, with the pandemic and welcoming our second child into this world early. He said that this has given him hope that sooner rather than later he can return to normalcy, starting with getting back his favorite knife bag.As for a review on the bag, my husband said that even with his old knife collection being so large, he fit a lot of them in there and the weight was nicely distributed so he didn't feel like they were going all over the place in transport. The bag was sturdy and did not feel cheaply made at all. He highly recommends this company/these bags.I also just want to say thank you again to Chef Sac (and Keith). You guys seriously rock and we appreciate you so much.
