She tried to warn me - the chili chicken rice bowl is spicy. It was delicious, but head's up, you'll need to order sour cream as it is hot. Super sweet waitress wasn't lying. Still .. very tasty indeed. My hubby ordered the steak sandwich and onion rings - loved it too. Bonus - they are also dog friendly. (Check out the photo - yes, that's our dog's head popping up table-side with her tongue searching for food!! LOL!!)

Inside environment is nice, but we stayed outside to the patio that is beside a high traffic road. They probably need to invest more on that area and make it more comfortable. It seems after Covid-19 patios are here to stay. Food was good and service did their best.

First patio experience of summer 2023 so far,Food was good, nothing to complain about there. I got the Brooklin Burger and my girlfriend got the Cajun Wrap, I wish I got the wrap but the burger was still excellent.Pricing was average, the deep fried pickles were a little steep at $12 for what they are but still good.We came for lunch on an average day, seating was quick. Service was a little slow in between drinks and waiting for the bill and take-out boxes, but still a great place for a patio lunch with good quality food.The patio is decently sized but for some reason there were no umbrellas! Not the end of the world because I needed a tan anyways, we were cooking!Overall a good experience.

4 of us went in for dinner Saturday evening, place was quiet, all patrons crammed into one area ( that should have been the sign to leave then) server had to be asked if there was specials, server never provided cutlery, the app spinach dip though tasty the cheese on top was not melted, mains came out 5 mins after we revived the app, side plates and cutlery had residual remnants on them and needed cleaned before using ( should have been the second sign to leave) our goat cheese wrap showed up minus the goat cheese (had to advise the server who brought a small side of goat cheese) strike 3, Thanks Brooklin pub, you reminded me how good the service and food are at Piper Arms and Charlie Ronicks, sadly we won’t be back!

These few strings on this pole are supposed to be a Canadian flag. The flag has been left like this for more years than I can remember. If this is how they treat the flag imagine how they take care of kitchen hygiene and their customers

A group of about 20 of us were celebrating a birthday. We had a reservation but a few extra people joined us, meaning we needed an extra table. Our server, Skylar, was amazing and very accommodating. However, a man, assuming the manager came over to tell us “we will give you one more table but I need everyone to sit down and remain seated. Nobody wants to sit near you, I can’t fill these tables around you because of your group. It’s Saturday night, it’s busy.” While I understand we are a big group, many of us had young babies and we’re still trying to situate ourselves at the table, a few guests had just arrived and were not yet seated and the manager was very rude to us and said we had to sit down and stay put.Many of us worked in the restaurant industry for years and know that this is no way to speak to a large group of people that came to eat, drink and socialize.It made me realize this establishment is not child friendly. We left with the impression that they care more about the amount of money they’re making at the end of the night than their guests’ experience.Shame on this manager for speaking to paying customers like this. There are better ways to approach an issue like this and I know many of us won’t be returning after this incident.

Wanted to try this place for a while and finally did in August. Great location. Nice atmosphere. Great service. Five stars for both.A wide selection of dishes on the menu including fusion food.Food was good but needs more work on flavors and freshness to reach five stars.
