My husbands a huge hockey fan, when it comes to birthdays or Christmas I always find myself at cleeves buying him gifts - the store has lots to offer and always reasonably priced. Their sneaker selection is one of the largest in the city. Staff are always welcoming and helpful. I would recommend going to Cleeves for any of your sports equipment or clothing needs! :)

Went to Cleve's last week looking for sneakers. Spoke to a salesperson who really knew his stuff! He taught me about the different types of running shoes and helped me figure out what would be best for my type of feet. Although I didn't make a purchase that day, I will definitely go back as their staff is very knowledgable!

Absolutely the worst customer service. Me and my girlfriend went in there and walked by 5 different employees and not one said hello nor did they ask if we needed help finding something. We were 2 of 3 customers who were in the entire store so the sales floor was very slow yet the employees were just standing around talking to each other. No one said anything to us until we left the store. This isn't the first time I've been treated this way at this location. I happen to be a visible racial minority which makes me wonder if this is a pattern at this store or a coincidence.

I have been shopping at Cleve's since their first store on Sackville Drive some 40 years ago. I have spent more money at Cleve's than i can count. I just had an experience where i bought the exact same product as someone else on the same day and we both attempted to return the opened product on the same day for the same reason and they took hers back and refused to take mine back. Identical circumstances, different outcomes. Spoke with the manager and district manager. Both refused. An inexpensive item which i bought a replacement for from them also. Very disappointed. Happy to spend my $$$ elsewhere from now on. Manager said, can't help you

Looking for tennis gear in NS? Cleve's in Bayers Lake should be your destination! THey have a racquet demo program that allows you to try a racquet for only $5/day and if you live outside of HRM, they can ship yhe demo racquet to a Cleve's location near you (like me in Yarmouth!). Robbie was super to deal with and very knowledgeable of tennis equipment and strung my new raquet to perfection - which he also quickly made arrangements to have shipped to me in Yarmouth! Thank you Robbie, Malcolm and the Cleve's team!

Decently helpful. They are young kids so you're not getting the expertise but if you know what you need and get in there with that in mind then the store design is great for finding everything!

I have a medical exemption not to wear a mask, I wore one into the store and took it down to take a breathe as I have asthma and have trouble breathing the guy working the shoes today feb 18th was very rude and unprofessional telling me to put it on or leave. Will not return.. do not recommend bayers lake location

I have purchased a lot of product from this store. The prices on the North Face products are amazing. I have bought 3 jackets from their clearance section. My overall experience with great prices and friendly staff is above and beyond. Thank you :)
