I’ve yet to get a good, even decent tasting beverage from this establishment. I asked for a Hot chocolate i got a Luke warm that resembled nothing like a hot chocolate. The latte, was equally dish water Luke warm and unappealing. The baked goods, were okay but, they got the order wrong. $35 for 2 people in a quiet store and they couldn’t make us a decent drink.The person taking our order just didn’t seem to care whether or not he got the orders correct. Both myself and my companion are baristas and were specific in our order.I don’t know if it’s something JJ Bean has developed as a common temperature to serve their drinks at but, if I want a kid’s drink I will ask for it, as adult I am very capable of holding and drinking my ‘hot’ beverage well over 135 degrees/57c thank you.

My favourite coffee stop in Vancouver but..... very dissatisfied with the new wrap menu that includes highly processed vegetarian options in place of the legendary Cody wrap (which was full of fresh cut vegetables).

Grabbed a coffee from this place, the coffee was good but the service was terrible. The staff just stared and laughed when I ordered a coffee. Way to make people feel uncomfortable!

I had an Americano and it was stronger than I expected. Not caffeine but flavour. You might really like that but I wasn’t expecting it to be so different from other coffee places. But cool vibes in this location and the staff was great.

The best coffee shop to hang out at on Powell, with an old world charm very unlike those boring, dimly lit places with industrial decor. Staff is warm and friendly, service is on point. Excellent coffee, baked goods and wraps. Raspberry scone and Vegan wrap with meatless sausage are our favorites.

Love my JJ. These guys are so friendly, locally minded, and that almond croissant accompanying my free Americano (bought 3 lbs. of beans both to imbibe and also to share) was almost out of this world. Almost; exceptionally delicious.Well done, crew!

This is great place not just for good coffee, but also place to buy quality selection of green coffee to roast it at home. This is definitely and interesting hidden aspect of the coffeeshop. They roast fresh coffee on premises and sell green coffee for very adorable prices. Really recommend to try roast own coffee to start appreciate the art of coffee roasting.
