Cineplex Odeon McGillivray Cinemas and VIP

I think if you're going for the VIP experience, this is the theatre in Winnipeg to go to. But if you're wanting to watch a movie that isn't available in VIP, I'd suggest going elsewhere if you can.I was in Auditorium #4 and it's just not a great experience. The seats are setup in such a way that anyone sitting in front of you will block almost 25% of the screen. Fortunately, they chose to move over a couple seats. Some people may not be happy about the non-recliner chairs, it's not a necessity for me and these chairs are fine but what frustrates me is how absolutely tight these seats are. My arms were literally extending into the other seat, imagine going with a friend and constantly bumping each other when adjusting your position.I understand that every auditorium is different and smaller screens will get less regular treatment, but come on it's such an obvious flaw that it almost feels like it was just intended to fill more seats.If there's a movie I really want to see that isn't available, I'll definitely come back. But jeez, Landmark Cinemas is just an all around better experience.

VIP section of the movie theater is good. Lots of space. The chairs are comfortable. The cashier seemed a little rushed, basically like a serve and get out of my way kind of attitude.

Great place, food is great in the lounge and has the comfiest seats in the city. Have the cineclub membership which is well worth it.Recently me and my gf had to cancel last minute due to a family emergency and the staff were very considerate and helped me in getting a refund. Excellent service!

Well, I'm officially never going to go to a regular theater again! Delicious food, you can eat right in the theater there's small tables to put food/drinks on. Huge fish bowl drinks too! The restaurant itself is right at the theater entrance and it's very ambient and lux. Loved it here and will for sure be coming again and again.

The seats are in horrible shape! There's tape on the edges, they wobble and squeak which is really annoying during the movie. Other people tried to move because their seat was stuck and wouldn't recline.So disappointed they've done such a bad job at maintaining the theater.

Very modern and clean. Went to watch Top Gun Maverick with my family. Very comfortable seats. Looking forward to trying the VIP experience next time.Lots of parking. Conveniently located. Concession area was well staffed. Digital ticket point of sale system was very easy to use.

Service was totally fine. Nothing wrong with the employees working. Came here with the fam because we had free movie tickets we got.Honestly would have preferred we just went to landmark and paid full price. Cineplex needs to update their business model. It’s just a subpar experience all in all.

Staff is rude and even talks badly in front of us. They don't care about customers, you can see their long faces and bad attitude. I loved it before, and the staff was very friendly, but now everything has changed. I might look for a second option to enjoy movies with my family.
