We had Home Care Chimney do an inspection on our occasional use chimney. The inspection was quick, thorough, and ended with a video camera review of the inside of the flue showing the nice clean tile etc. No mess, no fuss.They also identified some shoddy work by our previous sweeps - a $300 Tuck-pointing job by a local competitor where the mortar and some bricks were already loose, and the repaired cap was falling off altogether.We had HCC tear down and rebuild the top third of the chimney - they matched the bricks perfectly, and even repaired all the bad work the previous clowns had done. Had them out a couple weeks ago and legit don’t know if my chimney was actually swept. It’s full of ash and looks like no one touched it. I should have known I needed to be home for the cleaning but I figured my nanny wouldn’t have been taken advantage of and given the good reviews, home care would do the job they were paid to do. I paid $190 for about 20 mins of labor (I have the timestamp from our security cameras to validate). If the office wasn’t so curious and they weren’t on time, they’d get 0 stars but nonetheless, do not use this place. Total rip off.

I had a leaky chimney. Bud came out and gave me a very thorough (and accurate) estimate for the repair. His was the only company that actually climbed on my roof to estimate the repairs (I have a 10/12 roof, so others were less inclined to see the chimney up close). He determined that the builder didn't install the fireplace correctly and I needed some far more extensive repairs than I thought. He was able to track down the manufacturer for some of the parts, and have others custom made. His team took 4-5 hours from setup to clean-up, to repair the chimney and replace all of the wood trim on the chase. From what I can see, they did an excellent job. No leaks, and no damage to my property.Home Care Chimney wasn't the cheapest estimate I got (in fact it was the most expensive), but they did excellent work. Good communication and honesty go a long way with me, and I will gladly pay more for someone that I feel like I can trust to do the job correctly.

Waited several weeks for a return call to set up appointment. Had home care chimney out to inspect and clean chimney. Was given a bleak prognosis for my chimney and a 7,800 estimate to rebuild. Paid for a cleaning as well but noticed large amounts of debris still laying in fireplace. Called for a second opinion and was told my chimney looks “great.” Called for a 3rd opinion to be absolute sure and was also told chimney is in great condition. Also had to pay another company to clean chimney for a second time because home care did not clean as they had said they did. Very disappointed.

Buyers beware I sent four emails to get a warranty they never wanna send it they keep changing the price its the most unprofessional mom and pop place.. He try to frighten me and say that you need a liner otherwise you potentially could have a fire to convince me to place one thank God I canceled buyer beware...Then she tries to scam me and say oh my husband send an email the day before the service is supposed to be rendered and there is no emails..Because They didn’t want to send a warranty
