One of the best Happy Hours locally. My order was an interesting take on a chicken club sandwich, not what I was expecting as pictured below. Slightly different from the norm but a learning experience.Always enjoy their drinks with a large available variety and interesting selections.Food quality is a 7/10Drinks 8/10Service was good and got seated right away at the available booth of our choice.See you at the next happy hr.Cheers

The service provided by Grant and his team at Sammy J's Grill & Bar was outstanding! On short notice they were able to help us plan and put together our VIP Realtor event. They truly went above and beyond to make our event a success. We had access to the entire heated patio section of the restaurant, which was blocked off from the general public, and also had a team of servers specific for our event! The food and drinks were delicious and everyone had a great time.I highly recommend Sammy J's for any events you may be planning in the future. They will definitely exceed your expectations, provide suggestions and go above and beyond to make any accommodations! Grant allowed us to come in a few days beforehand to ensure our computers would work with the TV’s and answered all of our questions.Highly recommend Grant and his team! Huge shout out to Madi (Madison) and the rest of the girls that helped out!

They have a big selection of appies so we ordered the potato wedges, poutine, and shrimp during happy hour. All three were pretty solid and I have no complaints. The place itself is pretty big and it has TVs all over which you can view sports on from anywhere your sitting. The sammy soda tasted pretty lackluster however.

We held our playoff hockey draft at this bar and it was incredible. The food was awesome(well priced)enormous portions, 14 of us and our server was incredible. Not once did anyone run out of drinks or had the wait for service. Our server Massey(hope i spelled it correctly) was incredible, she was polite, courteous, friendly and always smiling. Looked after our every need. A definite 10 out of 10, Well done you made it a perfect gathering.My hat's off to you.Conrad

We’ve been here a couple of times. We ordered their Yam Fries, Chicken Wings, Panko Shrimp, Shrimp Penne Pasta and Steak Fajitas. Everything was so good. Service was awesome so is our table. Right by the window. We will surely be back.

Amazing food and good quality. I was surprised to see the number of options they offer on their Vegetarian menu. You would need to ask the servers for their vegetarian menu to get hands on it.For the first time in a long time I found such a good place with a welcoming atmosphere and delightful hospitality servings a great selection of dishes for a vegetarian like me. Staff was really helpful and kind to make some good recommendations. Keep up the good work.

My wife and I had an amazing Valentines Dinner. The New Orleans Combo Skillet was amazing. (Highly recommend). Steaks cooked to perfection, very tasty. A visit to Sammy J's has to include an order of Blackjack Strips (Best Appetizer). The Service was also excellent, which just helped to make for an enjoyable dinner.

Went to Sammy J's for the first time in probably a decade. I remember it being decent but it far exceeded my expectations. This is an excellent place to go for reasonably priced drinks with a great selection. Happy hour has a great menu and the food, albeit not amazing was still good and fairly priced. Highly recommend to come here for a couple drinks and some appetizers.
