Berry's Bait and Tackle is top notch in products and customer service. I'm in the US and I will take any opportunity to order my fly fishing gear from them going forward. I had my eyes on some really high quality fly fishing reels for a long time, Berry's had a holiday sale on said reels and I jumped at the opportunity. They handle their customers needs with care and promptness, they communicate exceedingly well and make sure their customers get what they need when they need it, no questions asked. 5/5

It’s a bit out of my way but this shop has got soul. The service is great, the business is part of the community. Very importantly for me I am a carp fisherman, this business knows what that means, and I don’t get those derisive looks. Berry’s stocks carp tackle. My son purchased his first rod from one of the big box stores, he wanted to get into fishing and wanted something suitable for catching salmon so on the recommendation of the salesperson he purchased a rod from the the big box" retailer (not the best place to shop and admittedly a mistake).Now I know nothing about fishing and my son was interested in learning so I searched online for "pro" advice and figured a local tackle shop would be a good place to start; based on the reviews we visited Berry's tackle (brought the new rod with us) in hopes of some advice

Best fishing equipment store in BC. The help is fantastic.

Been a customer for about 10 years and picked up what initially was going to be a summer job there, then stuck around until I no longer had time due to a full time job + other commitments.Can say firsthand that they’re an amazing team, staff are extremely friendly and they do an excellent job of making regular customers feel like part of a family.

The Berry's Bait & Tackle team is first class. Very knowledgeable and the store has a great range of fishing gear. Lot's of stuff you can't get at other stores. Highly recommended

We had never fished before and my dad wants to learn to fish salmon now that he retired. We were a little nervous as we had no idea what to ask and buy. We told Kevin our intentions (staff who works there) and he was very friendly and patience at the get go, he spent a least an hour showing us around the different tools my dad would need. He didn't try to up sell" us the fancy gears

This shop has everything you could possibly ask for to prep for your fishing trip and the staff members there are very knowledgeable, friendly and helpful!!! I went there one year ago with limited knowledge on fishing gears, a staff member named Jason was very patient, educative and navigated through all the fishing gears that I need to prepare for a family trip to Sunshine Coast. I walked out there ready for fishing!!! I even got a mini rod (toy/can be set up for real fishing) ready for my 2 year-old daughter. One year later, I went up to Berry's bait to renew my fishing license and stock up some fishing supplies. Jason is there and again he helped with refreshing my skills of how to set up the hook on the rods! I would highly recommend this store! 5 Stars for ALL!!!
