Peterborough City Hall

The amount of bureaucratic hoops and hurdles the fine people running the City of Peterborough's various devisions overseeing development and whatnot is unparalleled...bonkers, really.I've dealt with public servants working in municipalities, cities and towns across the country, and these guys and gals take the trophy for obstinance towards progress.Peterbrough falls short behind so many places in this province; Guelph, Kitchener, Waterloo, London, Goderich, Lakefield, Picton, Kingston, Niagara-on-the-Lake, Collingwood, Barrie...the list goes on and on and on...Peterborough has so much potential to be progressive and a great place to live, not just the pretty pockets but the WHOLE place.Y'all should jump on a school-bus and do a tour of the top towns in Ontario and see what they're doing right, take some notes and take that home with you. As a member of the public, that's my request of these servants" who instead are acting like jaded lords and ladies in their walled-up fiefdom that aint working."

The lady hat reception has ALWAYS been a very helpful lady. Seems to be the nicest and the helpful person I have received assistance from.

The City Clerk is located at 500 George St. N. Peterborough. NOT 99 Simcoe Street.

City Hall in Peterborough is exceptional. They are always very considerate and will direct you to whatever Department you need to speak to.If it is another Department that is not at City Hall they will forward you to a different area or give you the phone number that your looking for.Exceptional Service

shame on all city counselors who r doing NOTHING to help the homeless & sending eviction notices to Overflow tent encampment! really..how cold hearted r u fiends??

The person I was dealing with did not stamp both payments and she came outside to get me to make the change so nice of her.

Send city buses dwn my street for no reason! Tht drive in excess of speed. Now take away my dogs favourite park at mem center! Shame on you!
