Tidal Train Sculpture
A 22 foot tall kinetic sculpture of a deer and Steam locomotive by Bruce Voyce in 2014.It’s made from steel and represents both arrival of the skytrain in Port Moody (the Evergreen Line), and references Port Moody foundation and connection with the railroad.Port Moody was the original 1882 western terminus for the Canadian Pacific Railway, before the terminus was moved to Vancouver. The tidal name alludes to the near-by mudflats/estuary within walking distance of the sculpture. It also utilizes led lights, a solar panel, and a fisheye mirror section.Great for children.

A great interactive artwork! Kids and the young at heart love to spin the wheel and make the train move.
