Circle Ceremonies - Jane Good Wedding Officiant

2.5 years ago when we were looking for a wedding officiant my I came across Jane Good and told my fiance we had to have her because of her name, it had to be a good omen to to be married by a person with Good in their name!We ended up eloping at the Vancouver pop-up wedding in 2018 and with not knowing who any of the wedding officiants were and zero control over who we got could you believe that for the first wedding of the day we had gotten Jane!She was warm and kind with a calm aura which is exactly what is needed in a time that can be overwhelming and stressful.With our ceremony being short and sweet, (exactly what we wanted), we got married and carried on with the festivities of our day.Fast forward 2 years and with our anniversary coming up I wanted to do something special and get our vows printed up. Unfortunately with the only video I have of the day it was too loud around us to really hear what our vows were. I emailed Jane asking for her help with the small tidbits of our vows and she was quick to respond and sent me exactly what I was looking for.I knew being married by Jane was going to be good.Thank you for being a part of our memories.

Jane worked so hard to make our wedding an absolute dream. She took so much time to make sure she really had a feel for who we are as a couple through numerous phone calls and she even met with my father in law to go over all the details.Not only was she more than helpful on the wedding day, she also made fantastic recommendations for neat places to eat in Tofino. It was really nice having a “local guide” because we wouldn’t have tried a couple of the places if they hadn’t been recommended and we loved them!We also hired her husband to perform music during the ceremony and he was willing to learn new songs for us. He did a beautiful job.All in all, my wife and I would recommend Jane’s services to anyone looking to get married in Tofino! We loved her energy and appreciated all her effort!Thank you so much Jane and Richard!

Jane was able to make a small ceremony feel like the world was in our hands. It was not only heartfelt and exactly what we wanted but more. Jane was able to take our requests and turn it into the most amazing day of our lives and a moment that will truly stay with us forever. Thankyou ❤️

We felt extremely blessed that Jane was our daughter’s wedding officiant. She spent a great deal of time speaking with our daughter and her fiancé and the personal connection she developed with them was reflected in the beautiful words that she spoke during the ceremony. Jane is a warm and charismatic individual and her ability to keep all of us in the moment and enjoy the beauty of the ceremony was completely amazing. Her husband, Richard, sang and played the guitar during the service and we were extremely impressed with his musical talents. Jane and Richard definitely contributed in a very significant manner to the overall happiness we felt that day. In August 2021 my partner and I decided to get married on a weekend getaway on Vancouver Island. Because of the pandemic, we were not able to have many guests and my whole family lives in South America (I’m from Brazil – keep this information!). Jane was the first officiant I had contacted and for me, her soothing energy and kindness were enough for me to decide, I didn’t give my partner a chance because I knew in my heart, Jane was the right person to perform the ceremony. I had a million questions but Jane was patient and helped me with her insights and her calming voice.For the wedding, we set up a computer so my friends and family could watch the ceremony through a live stream on Facebook. Not only did Jane mention my family and friends, which made a huge difference, but she also chose ribbons matching the Brazilian flag colors. It was a genius touch and to this day every time I see this memento on top of my dresser my heart is filled with gratitude and I'm sure made the absolute right choice on Jane being the officiant of our wedding.

Jane was an absolute dream to work with! My husband and I changed locations and dates several times before we finally got married and Jane was so incredibly flexible about it and (thankfully!) stuck with us.She continually worked to make sure our ceremony was exactly what we wanted and that our love story was perfect. Her very talented husband even played his guitar during our ceremony!I highly recommend Jane to be your wedding officiant!

Jane did an amazing job of our ceremony a couple weeks ago. Our situation was a little unique, with a lot of folks joining via Zoom and social distancing for folks in-person. Jane was amazing at helping us put together a ceremony that was meaningful, included many of our family members in various ways, and made the folks joining remotely feel very much part of the wedding! We didn't have much of an idea of what we wanted our ceremony to be like in advance, so Jane gave us lots of different ideas that we otherwise would not have thought of. Looking back, I don't think we'd do a single thing different!

Jane is wonderful. She is so personal and helps in anyway she can to create to exact ceremony you want, even if you start out not knowing what that is. Through the whole process there was great communication, she is makes herself totally available to help with ideas and takes the time to get to know each of you individually. If you are looking to have a ceremony that is 100% you as a couple with a officiant that is sweet and caring to all, Jane is your best bet.

Jane was absolutely amazing! We couldn’t have chosen a better person to preform our ceremony. She made everything special and went above and beyond to accommodate our every need. Thank you Jane for being the best at what you do!!!!
