Deanna and Robert's Painting

The beginning of our process with Deanna and Robert was excellent. My girlfriend and I were looking to have a single bedroom painted and they were responsive and showed up the same day to look at the room and give a (very reasonable) quote on the spot. We discussed scheduling a time and date and they said they would reach out to us early the next week. Our only hope was to have the room done before July 4th. They did reach back out to schedule and a date and time was set. The morning prior to the scheduled time, my girlfriend received a text that they could not make it and asked if we would be all right with them coming the following day, which we replied that we were. The next day at the 9:00 AM scheduled time, nobody showed up. We gave them about 15-30 minutes and sent a text to check in, figuring they may be running late. After about an hour, I called and there was no answer. Later in the day, they contacted us that a family emergency had come up and asked to reschedule to the next week. We understood that things happen and were perfectly fine with another reschedule, however I did find it slightly unprofessional to wait so long before reaching out. Fast forward to today, when they were scheduled to come paint at 10 AM. Due to the last experience, my girlfriend texted them on 7/5 to confirm they would arrive at the set time and they replied that they would. Nobody showed up at 10 AM, nobody answered a text or call this morning, even after giving another 15-30 minutes before completely giving up. I'm not trying to be harsh, as life happens, but two no call-no shows is very unprofessional and it equates to lost business, even if it was a small job for them. All other reviews that I've seen, seem to state that they do an excellent job of painting, it's unfortunate that we couldn't make it that far.

Robert came to give an estimate on a paint job and left with an agreement that he'd be back on an agreed upon date to do the job. We bought the paint, were ready for him, and strangely enough, he called in a couple of days to ask if we'd like him to come to our house to give us an estimate". ??? We never returned the call and corrected him
