With regards to getting my uhaul from this location:Rick was extremely helpful. He helped me out this morning when my self-serve mobile attempt wasn't working, and he was very patient and resourceful on the phone when I had trouble returning the key. Great place, great guy. Thanks Rick!

A very honest shop with good prices. Highly skilled and personable these folks will get you back on the road. My vehicle required a new steering rack. These guys made sure I was well taken care of.

Had an extremely poor experience with this shop. I would never recommend it to anyone. They charged me more than double the initial quote and didn't fix the problem. Said it took 3.5 hrs with 2 people to do a job where only 1 bolt was involved (crank shaft censor). Because they incorrectly installed it backwards and tried to blame the part. When I called he had no interest in having a look at what went wrong. He said more parts and labor were required. Which they certainly were not. I got several second opinions who all warned me not to. I wonder why he didn't mention that while he was doing the work instead of waiting until it let me down again. Can't imagine what more he would've done with the unnecessary parts. The mechanic who repaired their error said I should definitely seek a refund. Rick @ James Bay service told me Ha! No. That's the way it goes with cars sometimes" also "Lucky I didn't leave it on the hoist all day and charge you for it." Wish it could have gone better. Good luck out there people."

I had Rick look at my ignition barrel. He replaced it all straight away with no fuss. He also alerted me to a wiring issue with my RV that I wasn’t aware of. Honest and fast work.

I've been taking my vehicles to James Bay service for decades. They are friendly there and they take the time to explain to you, what's going on with your car. And out of all the years that I've been dealing with these people, I have never had a problem. They have been honest with me and explained what they had to do and how they're going to do it. I recommend Rick and Steve and their group of competent mechanics.

These guys are as dishonest as they come. Their work is terrible. One of my many issues was they replaced my water pump and over tighten the belts so much the bearings were whining. I asked them to adjust them and was told the problem was the new pump, it wasn't I had OK TIRES check the pump and adjust the belts. They were very nice and only charged $20. I have over 40 years experience restoring cars myself. Sadly my hands are to damaged to continue doing mechanical repairs. The original estimate was 375.00 the final cost 785.00 FOR LABOR AND SHOP MATERIALS Only. I had purchased the parts from Key2 (good quality parts) and planned on doing the work myself. Highly recommend people to go else where.

I had my truck towed there not running and not sure what the heck was wrong with it. Mechanic told me he was off Monday so he would have me back on the road that day (Friday) . My truck is not ever an easy fix. I got the call at 6:30 that I was good to go. Price was fair work was quality . Can't thank them enough. For fair and equitable service I highly recommend them .
