AVOID AT ALL COSTS! They didn’t put the cover on for winterization/storing so it was filthy when picked up, then when we tried to launch the battery was DEAD. Just look at their newest reviews, terrible service! If I could give zero stars I would!

The Mercury engine on our South Bay pontoon has been having issues, I tried a few things to no avail and finally called J & K Marine a little after 4:30pm on Monday, 7/3/23. I received a call back from Kevin right before 7pm. He said to call them back this morning when they open at 10am and they would see if they had a fuel pump for the engine. They called me before 10am, had the right fuel pump and Owen came out, was happy to help even though it was raining and had our pontoon running perfectly in no time!!On the 4th of July!Summer is short in Minnesota, it’s great to know you can count on the great folks at J & K Marine to keep your boats running so you can keep making memories!!Priceless!!Thanks so much!!Rick

2nd year they have put my lift in for me. Chris is great to work with and super fast at responding to emails. Got me in early this year with the weather and high water.

I did not need much just needed to lubricate my propeller shaft and the owner of the business did it and showed me how to do it. I need another part last summer and they were so friendly. There's no doubt when I need something for my pontoon or boat I will go there. Great staff every time I've called. Most Pleasant people that I've come across in any business in a long time. I bought a used 17ft. fish & ski boat in the winter from J&K Marine's Detroit Lakes location. Sales staff was great to work with. When summer came it turned out there was an issue with the motor's lower unit.James in the service dept. fixed the lower unit free of charge even though it was past their usual 30 day warranty as the boat was bought before the ice out.I really appreciated their prompt service & help. Would def. buy a boat from J&K in the future. Thanks, all.

They are a great place to store and have your boat serviced. I had visited today prior to a phone call that my boat was ready to be picked up... so I will be back tomorrow for it to be ready for another great Minnesota fishing season.Unfortunately, this season my experience here was not up to par... my keys were misplaced for my boat. however, it appears that all repairs were done, after a mishap at the landing when removing the boat. so it unclear exactly why the keys and boat were not matched up and available on pickup. luckily I still had my extra key for the ignition.

Poor parts service. The parts person had no clue on how to look up parts or know anything about the marine industry. I’m in the service industry myself. I get how hard it is to find good people but if that’s the kind clueless person with attitude your going to put behind the counter then close your doors. I will never go back or recommend this place to anyone. What a joke.
