Recently, I was in Sydney NS for 5 days. I visited this restaurant every day for dine in and take out. Tried variety of dishes. Excellent food, authentic taste, satisfying quantity and reasonable price. The owner serves the food and all customer service with smile. Everything in this restaurant exceeded my expectations, so far from my home. I will strongly recommend this restaurant to my friends and surely visit again. Must try for all, especially Indians and South Indians. Thanks Joy and Mrs. Joy for giving homely atmosphere away from home. Best wishes for the growth of your business.

BEST Chicken Biryani I have had anywhere in Canada. Even Halifax and Toronto dont have a buryani this good. Sorry to say! MAYBE Vancouver but i havent had one yet. Highly recommend this authentic South Indian food.

The food was great. My husband and I ended up getting take out because we ran out of time to eat in the restaurant. The food was delicious and there was lots of it. I will eat there the next time that I go to Sydney.

A late night dinner at this place with a friend yearning for Kerala Porotta... our order was Porotta, Beef Roast, Chicken Friedrice and chilli chicken...As a whole, all items were tasty and not bad. Beef roast was the best. But then, be aware that their chilly chicken will not be the chinese style if u expected that... They serve South indian style chilli chicken, and the same opinion goes for the fried rice, too... no complaints on taste, though... One thing that wasn't so eye-pleasing was to see the big pieces of chicken in the fried rice that didn't give a cooked look - a total no-no for me... I removed them off before eating....Now for the negative... their price... Sydney now being a place filled with international students who have limited financial resources... If they wish to try keralite cuisine regularly, then this place is a total NO... 6 porotta, with a portion of beef roast, chilli chicken and friedrice... our bill crossed 60$... for the portion they serve, we felt that was really expensive.I do understand the nuances of maintaining a business, but being considerate to the student community who is the majority in this small city now... they could look into their prices or increase their portion size... All the best...

The food is absolutely delicious. Myself and my husband ate here today for the first time. I had the Chilli Chicken he had Beef roast, we also ordered rice to go with it. You get a nice amount of food for the price. The flavor and spices are fantastic. Im missing the Masala Tea as I write this, it was amazing. One of the best meals I have had in a long time. We will definitely be back for more.

Ghee Rice and Chicken curry were tasty. Ample quantity too. However Appam and Stew were totally disappointing. Appam was like dosa and not the one you get in Kerala. Stew was over creamy and probably coconut milk used was not traditional. Service was poor too. I had to request drinking water to get one. Also table was not attended for long time. I am not reducing too many stars as I was a traveller and may be it was just a bad day for them

Food tasted amazing, butter chicken was great and the amount of food was actually too much -- they could probably give half the amount of rice and it'd still be more than enough, I'd hate to see them lose money and wonder why. Quite a few small bones in the chicken but I don't think it's worth taking off a star.Went here with 2 others and each of us got the butter chicken plates. Butter chicken came first, then a gigantic plate of rice. As we were getting ready to divy up the rice between us, two more gigantic plates came out. What we thought was 1 huge plate of rice for the whole table was just a serving for 1 person.. it was probably like 3 cups of rice each. Quite a few small bones in the chicken but for how good it was and how much you get it's not worth taking off a star.Would recommend, it was definitely awesome.
