I love love love coming here. My daughter and I camp here 3 times a year. Trying the different sectors and sites it is always a different experience. We have a tradition of visiting the Lusk cave on day 3 if it's not storming. It is also always exciting and different each time. We are excited for our future visits. It is most certainly worth visiting.

Stayed twice in the Taylor Lake section and loved it. Sites are a good size, almost all directly on the lake. Fishing is terrific, caught some nice bass. But black flies and mosquitoes were really bad. You're literally in the deep woods so come prepared. Around Taylor Lake you only have vault toilets so you'll need to go to Philippe Lake area for showers and convenience store. We brought along a portable toilet and privacy shelter which worked out great. This area is very popular so book well ahead of time!

Really enjoyed winter camping here. The sites and amenities are very conveniently located. The pathways are well maintained. The wood store was well stocked. The nearby Renaud shelter offered a perfect respite from the cold and was filled with cheery skiers singing songs

Great campsite for winter camping. It's about a 2.5km hike/ski from the p19 parking lot to the campsite so have all of your gear packed tightly. It's not right up to the edge of the water as I would have liked, but it's close enough and very close to the trails. The free firewood that comes with the camping is also a great bonus.

We arrived here today to camp. Upon entering the registration building there were two staff members inside. Neither of them greeted us. The lady simply ignored us and turned her back and the man said wait. He proceeded to count a huge pile of coins. We stood there dumbfounded so I read the park rules board. I noticed that no dogs are allowed in the campsites. I mentioned this to my husband. We waited a few more moments and the two staff still ignored us. So I said to him, to save us time if dogs are not allowed in campsites is there anywhere nearby we could go?" Well finally that got their attention. To say this was the worst welcome we have ever experienced would be an understatement. I have had better reception at my local landfill in BC. Not like we are shabby travellers. Would also have appreciated a sorry we cannot accommodate you

This camp ground is almost perfect! Place to wash your dishes, 3 available beaches, bathrooms are the nicest I have seen at a campground, private showers, impeccably clean, daily shows/ educational,etc... The only downfall is that most camp sites are right on top of each other. No privacy. Great for a short camping trip, if you value your privacy, would not recommend for a long stay. Other than that I would definitely go back for a weekend/ short visit. Great place for family with kids.
