Benjamin Moore - Chilliwack Decorating Centre

We love the paint it's thick and brushes and rolls on the wall amazingly. The service was the question? We go into the store and have half a gallon that we bring into get the same paint. I ask the male at the counter that we need one gallon of the same paint. I ask him politely to shake up the half gallon that I brought in he said ok no worries. Well in the end I did worry because after handing me the $80 gallon of paint he hummed and hawed about why he couldn't shake up my half gallon in the mixing machine. Needless to say will be going else where nect time. Where's the service with a smile and stop being so lazy.

The Lady here is great, never had a problem and had an enjoyable time spending over $1000 here. Went there today and got an older man who was aggressive and condescending during the entire time talking to him just because I wanted a paint they didn't sell. I decided to leave and advised I'd go somewhere who would want to help me. He then proceeded to follow me outside, swearing and cussing at me and told me to never show my face there. I'm in shock. Worst experience I've ever had in a store, specifically a customer service based store. Will be telling all my friends and family about this awful experience and will never go there again.

Our building is updating paint colours and the manager made a comment about how cheap the building is. Whether the building or its finishes are cheap or not, we were there to select paint colours. When I called to speak to the manager about the unprofessional service and discovered she was the person who made the comment, I expected her to say “My apologies, I shouldn’t have said that.” Instead she hung up the phone. The lack of professionalism by a manager is unfortunate for the customers and for the owners of the store alike. Did you the lack of professionalism, I would seek advice elsewhere.

Ben Moore paints are top notch and can’t be beat. Unfortunately this store tarnishes that name. Very contractor unfriendly and the staff leave lots to be desired. Abbotsford store is worth the drive.

What a great experience, I for the life of me can not remember the womans name who helped me ( I'm notoriously bad with names) but she was phenomenal! She helped me pick out the most beautiful blue for my nursery, which was what brought me back for her help a second time. My fiancee and I have spent the last year trying to decide what to do with our main floor, and after spending 30 minutes or so chatting with this wonderful woman, our problems were solved! I would recommend this store to anyone and everyone.

I went in here today with a painted piece of wood so i could have the colour matched. The guy at the counter who was helping me was great, and he told me to come back in a while. When I came back, there was another lady who brought out a paint can and was writing up the bill. I wanted to see what i was buying exactly as i hadn't seen a swatch or colour sample of what I was buying and she just raised her voice and screamed loudly in front of other customers you have to buy it" 5 times!! It was so embarrassing. I had every intention of paying - I just wanted to see what i was getting before paying for it. I'm never coming back here again. Customer service is terrible!"

After moving to Chilliwack, our new home needed to be painted from top to bottom. We were recommended to go see Janet and buy Benjamin Moore paint. Firstly, Janet was amazing. Her helpfulness and advice were invaluable. She was so helpful, as we came back again and again, with carpet samples, and seeking new sample pots to test in the house. She helped us capitalize on a great paint sale. Once we put the first coat on the wall we were so glad we bought Benjamin Moore paint!! The quality is excellent, and the colour we ended up choosing is beautiful. We are so grateful for the quality product, and the help of Janet at each and every step. Would highly recommend.

Here's a prime example of how a single employee can leave a lingering bad taste in the mouth of a customer by simply and clearly demonstrating they don't care. A business that has a premium product, but sub par staff.We drove 45 minutes from our small town to this business to match and purchase some paint. The fellow working in the store simply stated that he was working alone (which he clearly appeared to resent) and couldn't do it. After some discussion, he offered to take our sample and call us back the next business day when he had matched the color we needed. We left the sample, but didn't hear back. So the following day, we drove in again to retrieve the sample to take elsewhere.On arrival, we were pleasantly greeted by another employee who asked how he could help. We said we had left a sample two days earlier with somebody else. He went into the back and summoned the fellow we had spoken with. He comes out with no smile, no demonstrated interest in helping a customer, and says oh yeah

Janet is wonderful. My family has worked with her at Chilliwack decorating for years and we are always pleased with our experience. She remembers you, your house, your colors, even if she hasn't been inside!! If you need help with a Reno, I would fully recommend meeting with Janet.

Knowledgable and helpful staff, Gary and his crew are always willing to go the extra mile to make things work. Highly recommended For both residential and commercial coating needs..
