Every time I go into Modern West I’m always greeted nicely and asked if I need any help. The staff is super helpful with any questions that I may have on products. The store is always clean, organized, and bright. Always happy to shop here! :)

Great supplier with excellent selection of product.

Came all the way from Australia and needed a haircut. The staff was real welcoming and went above and beyond my expectations! Would really recommend

Awful services and horrible customer service. Their prices are higher than their neighbouring beauty supply store. They won’t price match or exchange and the staff are horrible with an attitude. Each one of them says something different than the other. Not helpful at all and awful service. Not recommended. No comparison to the branch that’s in Calgary!

Could tell as soon as I walked in I wasn’t going to be helped by the girl at counter. Kept checking to see if I met qualifications to shop there. Apparently I can’t purchase items here because my course didn’t cost enough before taxes for them to allow me to shop. I am fully certified by a reputable company who’s been local in Edmonton for numerous years (decades even).

Think twice before you make a purchase at Modern Beauty(Unless you’re a buying a product/item that you’ve already had) mostly because everything they sell is final sale!I went in looking for a good flat iron, the salesperson was friendly and did some recommendations. She showed me the GAMA PROFESSIONAL titanium flat iron and she said they’ve been selling a lot of it and that’s why they have it on sale($150). I was hesitant about it until the salesperson said to me that the Gama Professional is comparable to the Dyson Corale! As soon as she said that I decided to buy it!I tried it once but it didn’t work well with my curly hair. I had to do many passes and still didn’t straighten my hair.I called to speak to the manager to see if there’s anything she could do about it and she said no unfortunately. We tried to contact the sales rep but no reply from her either.Very disappointing…

Not well stocked but it gad everything i needed! The staff are very helpful
