An easy five stars for Staff Bureau, for over 20 years the talented women of SB have had my back when I’ve needed work the most, they continue to surprise and surpass expectation with smart and thoughtful placement savvy. I have tried a few different placement agencies and have been so disappointed with the results but then I found Staff Bureau.I have been with this amazing placement agency for about a year now and they have never let me down. I wanted to get into temping to gain experience in a lot of different roles to find out what I love doing. They have an incredible relationship with City of Edmonton and I have had the opportunity to work with Edmonton Police on three occasions (it has all been wonderful experiences.)Quick responses always when reaching out to the team and they are so flexible if you need them to be.Absolutely love Megan & Kathy!Thank you Staff Bureau for a great year!

I had a fantastic experience with Staff Bureau. Kathy and Megan are incredibly positive and dedicated to their work. It was clear upon meeting them that they are genuinely passionate about finding an optimal placement for everyone who walks through their doors. I was placed in a month-long position the day after I interviewed with Staff Bureau and was fortunate to have the contract extended several more months. My experience with Staff Bureau far exceeded my expectations and has been by far the most supportive and effective staffing agency I've worked with.

There are not enough good things that I can say about Staff Bureau and the employees there. They work hard to match you with employers that fit not only your resume, but your personality as well. It's not about just churning out people to positions, it is making sure it is the right fit for everyone. They work with you to make sure you're presenting your best self and really highlighting your abilities to potential employers. My first experience with Staff Bureau was exceptional. I came in to do my interview with them, and by the end of the day, I had a position available, that went from being a temp placement to full time employment. When I needed to find work again, I did not hesitate to contact them again. They have worked hard during exceptionally difficult times with the pandemic to find me another position. I can not recommend them enough. You can't go wrong with Staff Bureau.

There is no doubt that Staff Bureau deserves 5 Stars plus bonus stars if they were available. I am so very thankful for Kathy and Megan, and their dedication to placing you in the perfect place where you can succeed and feel confident. From the moment I met Kathy I knew that I was in the right place. The interview I had was thorough, and I was so comfortable that I felt I could really be at ease and be myself allowing them to find the most suitable position for me and my personality. Their dedication to ensuring I was happy was so appreciated. They really made me feel as though I was valuable to their company, and communicated with me in my job placements to ensure everything was going well. If I could give the Staff Bureau 10 stars, I would. The lovely people working at Staff Bureau are always there to help you with any questions and are very quick to respond. They place you in environments that you can succeed in, and it was a pleasure working with them. I highly recommend anyone looking for a staffing agency for help to reach out to these great people first. Thank you again Staff Bureau for always being amazing!

After losing a long term position in a private company due to the retirement of the owner and the company folding I was faced with finding work once again. I tried on my own for months without success. I turned to the wonderful staff at Staff Bureau and quickly had a temporary position. This soon turned into an extended assignment. Once that was finished I was immediately put into another. I have now found a permanent position with a great company. If you want to work, Kathy and Megan are the team to turn to. They are always willing to listen to any concerns and are very encouraging with the assignments you are placed in. I highly recommend this company.

Cannot begin to explain how wonderful this staffing agency is! Kathy and Megan are both amazing and have most definitely got me to where I am in my career today. I had met with many agencies prior to taking on any contract work and they all seemed to be recruiting people to only lock them into contracts or buy outs so they never really get a perm position from their contract and continue to work for that agency at a discounted rate but Staffing Bureau doesn't have either of those.The people at Staffing Bureau genuinely want to help find jobs for skilled and motivated people. After a layoff in oil and gas I struggled to find a decent job so I reached out to the agency and set up an interview. Days later they offered a 3 month contract with the City of Edmonton. This opportunity led to a full time position which I kept for many months before going on sick leave due to a motor vehicle accident. When I was ready to work again and had no luck securing a job, yet again. I called Kathy and literally had a contract two days later with the Government of Alberta which again led into full time work where I currently hold a position.If you're looking to get your foot in the door with the City of Edmonton or the Government of Alberta I highly suggest reaching out to Kathy and trying to take on a temp position with either. Not everyone knows this but its generally how people get full time jobs within either organization. You get a chance to learn how the organization operates, you build a network of people who can be references for you, and pick up skill that may be required for a full time position. You will easily double the chance of getting a job with them vs if you are applying as an outside candidate.I am so thankful to have found Staffing Bureau through a google search and hope that maybe this review will help somebody do the same, because If I had never met with Kathy god knows where my career would be today. Whenever someone is looking for work I always mention Staffing Bureau in hopes that I can help them as much as they have truly helped me.

This agency was not very helpful. I met with Kathy in July and completed all the online assesments that she requested. Afterwards they ghosted me until December when I got an email from another associate asking if I had found work. I told Megan I hadn't and never heard back again from anyone until the first week of January when I got the same generic email. I would not recommend this agency.
