I just wish they didn't keep betta fish in those tiny cups. I'm really sick of the myth that betta fish are happy in tiny enclosures. 2.5 gallon minimum, 5 gallons preferable. I don't think pet stores should carry betta fish if they can't keep them humanely. Most of their bettas were losing their colours from stress, just floating listlessly at the top of the water and not moving at all. That's not the quality of care a pet store as prolific as pet smart should settle for imo.

I booked an appointment for my dog for full grooming. I arrive to be told he can only have a bath. I produce the vets paperwork (updated 2 weeks ago) and did not have the most recent rabies certificate. Rather than allow me to get it emailed or faxed, they cancel my appointment. This is not the first issue I’ve had with this store and their grooming, I will never go to the store ever again and encourage others to find a better more customer friendly place for their pets.

When I went in, I asked for a #10 cut for my dog. The groomer told me he recommended a #5 or #6. I proceeded to tell him I would like a #10 because it's what I always get.When I picked up my dog, she was not cut to a #10, her ears were cut so lopsided, and her hair on her head is still long and so choppy. My 5 year old could've done just as good of a job and it wouldn't have cost me $92!!! I will not be going back! Very disappointed.

We were five minutes late to our grooming appointment because of road construction and when we arrived they’d already given it away and were extremely rude. Didn’t even try and call us or anything. Definitely not going back.

Just got a hanpster from lethbridge pet smart (2pm Sunday January the 8th). The girl who sold me the hanpster was very friendly and knowledgeable about how to properly care for the new pet. Gave us exceptional service, not something you often see in petshops.

Great staff at Pet Smart, after having our old tank leak unexpectedly we were at pet smart 30 minutes before closing on a Saturday night and the young man who helped us was fantastic! We love our new tank and stand and after getting it all set up we went back and got a few more fish and some fresh new plants! Looking forward to coming back to add a few more fish!

This store has absolutely everything one would need for their animal.It's neat and well organized.While we were there, they were training pups with their owners.MARSHALL was gifted on cash with his helpfulness and cute comebacks which made us smile.Thank you MARSHALL, you made our day.SKYLAR was a an awesome cashier.Lots of cat toys, beds, treats and food as well as for dogs, plus coats and chew sticks. They also have training for dogs and dog grooming.
