Starline Windows

I had some windows that fail to close completely after installing from Starline. There is a service call for coming to look at it and absolutely no customer service for the windows that have been installed by them. I was willing to pay for whatever the defect that's causing the issues if it was outside installation matter but kind of blown away by their aftercare service.Also, according to a window guy from another company who came to assess the issue apparently the windows were installed inside out and they used different size hinges up and bottom of the windows that's preventing the bottom window from closing completely. On another window, they did use the same size hinges but there's still some gap in the bottom. Overall, it sounded to me there was poor workmanship for the installation. Getting parts is a struggle and I would've appreciated some ownership from Starline over their work.

Junk patio doors. Absolutely no support. Bought a 10ft double slider patio door. Weather strip came of on one door and lock jammed days after warranty expired (1yr). Couldn't get anyone on the phone. Was willing to pay to have repaired but they said there service was too busy to help and gave me a third parties #. He fixed the lock but the weatherstripping repair didn't hold even a week. Second weather strip is now off also. Now I'm stuck with 5k door that leaks cold air all winter. The door is 2yrs old.

Poor quality windows . I have their double glaze windows and I can hear EVERYTHING from outside. Not sound proof at all … Unless maybe they didn’t install them properly ?Feels also very flimsy, a simple pression in the middle of the windows and it bounces . That ‘s scary .

Recently has issue with spring on push up window. Left a message for Greg in customer service. Promptly called back, was able to solve problem quickly and provided the spring assembly at no charge. My first dealings with Starline were in the late 1980's as a contractor and they still offer great product and service.

One of there drivers just about hit me at a 4 way stop. The starline windows van didnt stop and ran it making me stop again. The guy didnt even care at all. No care for public saftey or even stop to say sorry or anything. Barely even slowed under 20 or 30k. 1 p.m. on sunday. Kids dont need to be hit by these idiots in broad day light. Theres no way to leave messages to anyone about anything. Dont fund companies that dont care about others saftey.

I had my patio Door repair from this place. 2 men came up to my unit and did an awesome job. Very well spoken and professional. Thank you Starline!

Disappointed, Our glass sliding doors don't close and when we close our screen door, there is a gap in the top right corner that allows bugs to go in. We've had 2 or 3 service calls and nothing has changed. Very disappointed in starline. Everything from them was in a new build.

Guy driving a star line windows car almost hit someone today when failing to execute a simple alternate-merge on 16th Ave in Surrey, then chased the guy for a few km and pulled up beside him to curse at him. I certainly wouldn't want someone who can't figure out how two lanes merge into one lane in charge of my windows.

Don't think the company itself does terrible work. But the company that supplies thier windows does just about the worst work one could imagine. Starline should find a new supplier

After about 4-5 years the window trim started to warp and shrink. As these windows were out of warranty Starline didn't offer any assistance on how to fix it even though I expected to pay. Guess you get what you pay for. I would be careful if you are looking at this company to ensure the windows will last.
