They are patient and friendly when I’m practicing my Cantonese in there and they’ve always helped me pack up my purchase in my cloth bag when I’ve got my hands full with a little one. They take debit for purchases over $5 and it’s my go-to place for Birthday Cakes. As of Oct 2022 a 6” fresh mango cake is $43.80

Wow never knew they've the best customer service in Canada.They will treat you like nothing but won't forget to say thank you for coming in the end.I visited this shop for the first time and had such a bad experience. If I know about them before or how they treat their customers then I would have never put a step in that shop.Shame shame shame.

Ordered online through Uber Eats to pickup in store, showed up to the store well after the time my order was supposed to be ready. Apparently it wasn't enough time for them to even acknowledge they had received the order. Took them a good half an hour to get the order ready after calling Uber to confirm god knows what.Now that'd have been okay, I understand errors can happen and technology can't always be our friend. What caught me totally off guard, was the absolutely condescending tone of the employee. She was treating me as if I was lying about placing my order rather than trying to work out the problem from their end.Read through the reviews, a number of other people have also mentioned the same lady. She's totally incompetent and not fit to work in customer service.

Terrible taste in mouth after eating their buns and pastries. In fact, I had to dump all of them after a few bites. Besides the bad quality of food, their staff are unfriendly.

I like their cakes. They are not too sweet, looks great, tasty and not overpriced

Many reviews have been about the SAME bad staff member.I've been a regular customer at this Kingsway location, for the past 7 years. There has always been only one particular staff here, who is very rude while everyone else is friendly. Every staff there knows me as very friendly, I'm always smiling.But today, it was the last straw, whwn I witnessed that mean lady staff bullying her own co-worker!There were customers there! In front of customers, the mean worker was lecturing her coworkers, calling her dumb!So, not only is this mean staff super rude to customers, I now see she treats her coworkers the same way too.I would really like to ask the boss why he still hires her? And I KNOW they all know who I am talking about. There's only one mean & rude staff.She is rude to customers, rude to everyone, loud, mean. Why keep her?I saw her take out her meaness on other innocent customers too.There was a lady infront of me, who had purchased about a dozen buns. The mean staff asked rudely if the customer wants her buns in a box or separate bags. The nice lady in front said Don't matter

Ordered a fruit cake for my sisters Anniversary! The cake was up to the mark and not too sweeter as well! Liked it overall!

I bought 4 slices of different cakes to a dinner with friends and it was the most bizarre taste I’ve ever had… they tasted like absolutely nothing. No flavour, not even sweet or anything… just the texture difference between the sponge and icing.Not a single person liked their cake slice, including me.I tried just the icing to see if there was a flavour there but it tasted like whipped milk with no sugar or flavour.Also they mixed up the order and gave me 2 different slices than what I asked for and didn’t double check.Overall, very poor product but the cashier was lovely.

Great Chinese bread and cake shop. BBQ Pork Buns, pastries, cakes, etc. Excellent service and quality products. 10/10
