Staff is friendly and efficient. It’s super convenient to have my blood work done in the same place I see my doctor!

They messed up my lab test.I’m giving a 2 star because I’ve used them in the past with no issues, but this last visit for lab work was sub par at best. I went in for time sensitive lab work to ensure a medication I have just started taking was working or if the dosage needed to be changed. As per my doctors instructions, I was to call them the next day to go over results but the results weren’t in yet; two days later I got a call from my doctor saying they (varsity labs) had run the wrong tests on the lab work (I needed estrogen and progesterone and they ran thyroid levels and calcium levels) and I’ll need to do a repeat of that test next month. With out a single clue of the medication worked or not, which has pushed back our IVF treatments to august / September vs it being scheduled next month. This combined with the fact the tech couldn’t hit / find a vein, trying for 20 minutes poking 7 or 8 times, digging around in my arm. She finally told me she was going to try one more time and if she couldn’t hit the vein I’d have to leave, and did not offer an alternative. I asked her if she wanted to try my other arm since she only tried on one arm and this lab work HAD to be done THAT DAY and she declined. However she did end up getting blood on her last poke. It was just an overall poor experience, which I didn’t expect coming from a clinic where you have to pay for your lab work out of pocket.I am not sure if I will be returning there for future lab work as now I’m worried they won’t be competent enough to run the correct tests. This is completely unacceptable.

Well, you know what.The staff are (get this) friendly, courteous, professional, convey that they care about me as a person.The facility is clean, modern, pleasant decor.The lab tech is incredible and can do all the tests in one room. Friendly too!!An appointment time is a commitment. I was in with the lab tech at the agreed upon time.The room is heated (seems to be a radical concept compared to.... well, you know what).This place has the professionalism an ambience of a 5 Star doctor's office, dentist, optometry or anywhere else who actually cares about being in business.I'm glad to have them in my village, thank you.
