Nacho Sewing Machine Inc

I took my machine in thinking that I had a major issue. I wasn't able to sew on very light fabric. It turns out that I had put the needle in incorrectly. Nacho cleaned up the machine, showed me how to install my needle properly, and impressed me with his knowledge of the sewing machines he works on. He is truly a craftsman at his trade.

They might do fine work on Juki and Consew machines (for which they are an authorized sales and service center). Unfortunately, their work with Pfaff machines leaves much to be desired. They adjusted the machine timing and foot lift for a shorter needle system which is a standard needle type for Juki and Consew machines, but not correct for Pfaff. While similar to the needle sysem used in some Pfaff machines, the machine I brought them is specifically designed for a longer needle and high knee lift to accomodate thick leather. This capability has been limited by their improper adjustment. Update: after inspecting the machine more closely, additional issues were discovered. The when the needle descended below to catch the lower thread, the bobbin hook was hitting the needle and bending it out of the way to complete the rotation. Had this issue been allowed to persist, there would have been serious damage to the machine.

Nacho is certainly knowledge and caring. He stops and answers questions even when he is walking out on an appointment. His work is great.

Never showed up. I forgot to call the day before but I did call at 10:30 AM to confirm the 1/2 o'clock appointment. But no call no show.

Great place, to buy or get sewing machines fixed. I personally know Nacho, He's very polite, courteous and caring. He also is very knowledgeable when it comes to sewing machines. So you wouldn't have to worry about dealing with someone who isn't educated in their products. I would recommend this place to anyone interested in sewing machines.
