Our first time here. Great food and a nice atmosphere. It's one of those small town restaurants that are always great to eat at. The staff were very nice.

First visit in 15+ years, first visit for my wife. Food was good, portions were huge, prices are decent. BUT HERE IS WHAT I DIDN'T LIKE!!! While eating our meal we watched the main cook (blue touque) rub his hands on his head several times (gloves on), then slides those hands over his face, then turns and prepares the food with those same dirty gloved hands! Disgusting behavior. Why is staff wearing winter gear in the kitchen in the first place? Likely won't visit again, if I do...I'll be watching you...Mr blue touque! Yuck! That salt you taste might be his sweat!!!!!!

Hosted out hockey team this last weekend and were excellent hosts! Their chicken subs are some damn good home style chicken and amazing bread. Definitely recommend!

Good service, friendly staff.. Just disappointed in the food. Ordered dry ribs and Caesar salad. Ribs were over cooked and hard. Salad was loaded with croutons and bacon bits but couldn’t taste any dressing. Sorry, not worth the 11.95. But I will give this place another shot one day.

As the other reviews mention, the fried chicken and gravy are fantastic! I would prefer less fries (portion was HUGE, with higher quality fries than the crinkle cut fries (i realize crinkle cut fries are inexpensive to buy but they aren’t very good compared to other fries on the market today).

They were so kind and accommodating to us today. The owner heard us ordering and came out to check on some allergy modifications. He went out of his way to ensure we were all fed in a way that ensured we were safe from a dietary perspective - even offering to run to the store to get an off menu item. Just a real hometown honesty and kindness and generosity. I would support them again in a heartbeat.

Dine In Allowed!!! with all restrictions lifted. This Restaurant and its Chicken, especially the fries and gravy have been a staple in restaurant eating for many many years, sadly closed between ownership, but back in action. if you havent eaten here, then you haven't lived, quaint little place small on room, big on taste.
